For our first, but definitely not last, visit to Buenos Aires, we chose well with this Vrbo. The location is ideal, near shopping, good restaurants, a famous cemetery, and close to one of the city's airports. The members of the management team - owner Valerie, Ana Maria, and Máximo - were solicitous, friendly, and helpful with suggestions for activities in the area and places to eat. That said, we have to get to some tango next time! Great place to stay for two people.

My friend and I traveled to BA to join our tango group. We stayed for 4 nights and it was perfect. Love the location and neighborhood. Everything was convenient. Valerie, Max and Ana were available to answer questions. Ana met us and had picked up sandwich and water for us since it was lunchtime- she was very informative and helpful. We miss it already Anne will be back.

Our host was so easy to deal with and very kind. The apartment had we everything we needed and a very good quiet air conditioner. So nice to soak in the tub and look at one of the most beautiful cemeteries in Argentina. This was the best place on our South American winter holiday.

I cannot say enough nice things about Maximo, who welcomed us with open arms from the second we got there. He had a bottle of wine waiting for my mom and I as well as helped us with our suitcases and answered any questions that we had when we first got there.
Unfortunately on the second day my mom got really sick and Maximo called an ambulance and he stayed with me for over four hours, and took care of absolutely everything…..this man deserves an award!!! He went above and beyond…..I honestly cannot say enough nice things.
Fortunately everything is fine with my mom and the rest of our stay was absolutely fantastic!!! The location is key and is near absolutely everything from coffee to bars to shopping and of course amazing sightseeing! The view is absolutely spectacular. The air conditioning is a Wonder!!!!
Maximo kept in contact with us during our entire stay with whatever I needed. He was there to help!!!! And then, of course, on the day that we were leaving, Maximo showed up and helped us to our Ubers with our suitcases! A perfect host and wonderful human being!!! Thank you again for everything!!!❤️❤️❤️

Let me just say, that Valerie (the owner) and her manager Maximo (on-site contact) were simply the best people we have ever had a transaction with.
The flat was centrally located and easy to get around. Recoleta is the more "upscale" area of Palermo. Walking around we saw the Four Seasons and mansions on the other side. However, after hanging out in both areas, we still prefer this area. Every single person was kind.
Just downstairs, a market for most items you will need & vegetables. Pastry, empanadas, barber shops, and sightseeing all right there. Recoleta Cemetery is a lazy American walking 4-5 minutes to the entry, the side wall is 20 yards away from the flat.
Valerie is so sweet and kind. When she found out it was our anniversary and wife's birthday she took a little off the additional day we stayed.
Maximo, AKA really sweetheart of a man, with plenty of knowledge of the city and what people generally need. He sat with us until we asked every question and still answered WhatsApp messages. We also got a bottle of Argentine wine which was amazing.
This was our first VRBO stay and it's a little different than A-BnB.
Thank you Valerie and Max for your kindness and we will be back. Heck, I may be back next week, we weren't able to spend 150,000 peso's and we can't sell them back here in the USA.
BTW go to San Telmo Market, Western Union for pesos and use pesos vs CC as much as possible. My Amex showed triple of what I purchased. Aside from that wonderful time.

Just what I needed for my stay in Recoleta. My favorite area of Buenos Aires.

Stayed for 10 weeks, working remotely. The wifi was excellent the entire time. The building is quite old with two small elevators, but the flat has been updated with most everything you need. We rarely cooked as eating out was more fun and, when we were there, less expensive. Max (the flat manager) and Valerie (the owner) responded to all requests quickly and even replaced the A/C unit when it malfunctioned. The location is safe with a vibrant night life of clubs, restaurants and bars on the street below. Easy walking to many of the museums and interesting attractions. One last note: Due to extreme heat much of the city was subject to power outages (sometimes for a week or more) but we never experienced loss of power for more than a couple of hours one night.

The view from this apartment is amazing. From every window in every room you can see Recoleta cemetery. It was very safe - the apartment and the neighborhood. Lots of great places to walk to and delicious restaurants. Valerie was very easy to communicate with and her caretaker Max was super helpful and kind. Highly recommend!

Home in the city
It is a cozy apartment, with and incredible view. In a wonderful neighborhood which is comfortably walkable. There is plenty to see within walking distance and with the subway a block away, it puts the rest of Buenos Aires within easy reach.
If we get to Buenos Aires again we will certainly consider this as our home away from home. Will gladly recommend it to friends. The host and apartment manager were helpful and accommodating after a horrible experience we had at our first rental. Wished we had chosen this for both our stays in Buenos Aires.

Excellent apartment and manager
Valerie's apartment is as described with beautiful views. Maximo was the best when my daughter left her cell phone on a tour bus and we could not contact them. He responded immediately when we had a plumbing problem. Thanks Maximo, you were great.

Great location in Recoleta and convenient to everything. Accommodation was a bit dated and smaller than anticipated. Good space for 2 adults but not for 4. Max was very responsive and helpful. Bed was too soft and needs replacement.

Great apartment, great location
We had a wonderful stay in Recoleto. The apartment is comfortable and well equipped, and the location can’t be beat. Although the apartment is close to a subway stop, we took taxis everywhere, as they were cheap and always available. The neighborhood was pleasant and seemed very safe. Highly recommended.

You can’t go wrong staying here!!
Nailed it: perfect location, very bright, great views of Recoleta Cemetary, balcony with 2 chairs, lots of windows, fully equipped apartment, Free Netflix, wifi works great, 2 elevators, sun all day, there is a safe for valuables, building has double gate, doorman, lots of books and guidebooks, power bars to take Canadian and US plugs (no adapters needed), landline for local calls to book restaurants/taxis etc. Owner and host very helpful and responsive to questions.
Areas for improvement: install washing machine, a couple of small tea tray tables for eating on (there’s no dining table), provide garbage bags, create a "welcome booklet" with info on how the stove works (it’s tricky), how to get the outer window shutters up and down, how to get Murphy bed down, recommended restaurants, safest taxi companies, closest subway stop, location of large supermarket, etc. Make sure to ask these questions to the check-in host. The traffic noise from bedroom can be a bit loud at night, even though apartment is on 9th floor, just late night hustle and bustle of the city. (Windows are thin glass and can hear lots going on outside). Double paned glass might help.
These things are just “nice to haves” based on other apartments we have rented during our travels. They by no means take away from the greatness of the apartment and the wonderful experience we had in BA. You can't go wrong staying here! Beautiful spot!

A great location with fabulous views of Recoleta Cemetery
A lovely lapartment for 2 with a balcony which is perfect for sipping morning coffee or an evening glass of wine! The views are as good as the photos! We really enjoyed staying in this area and found the taxis to be a reliable and inexpensive way of getting around.

Great apartment in centrally located area
We had a great stay. This is a great one bedroom apartment located in a very nice area. Owner, Valerie, and onsite manager, Max were very accommodating and took care of arranging everything we needed. Some of the information provided in a comprehensive description of services is outdated (i.e. now closed, or phone numbers obsolete). We had a great time in Buenos Aires and I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great apartment!

In the Heart of the City!
my little "home away from home"... the perfect location to fan out and see many districts of Buenos Aires... this condo/apartment was very well appointed and I never felt a want for anything... safe and secure in a great neighborhood... plenty of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance.. couldn't have asked for more... plus, the owner, Valerie, and her manager, Max, were "over the top" helpful!

Fantastic location, great apt for group of 4
Valerie is great to work with as she is very responsive and gets back with clear recommendations. At the apartment, Max is truly awesome to work with. He is extremely helpful and got us situated right away.
At the apartment, everything you need is in few minutes walking distance. The building has two well maintained elevators. The entrance to the building had two sets of locked doors with attendant on site during the week. The area is very safe. Families and kids are out late in the evenings when we visited in December 2017. The subway station is 5 minutes by walk. Taxis are easily available.

Fantastic view/location/service
The view overlooking Recoleta Cemetery is other-worldly. Location couldn’t be better. The apartment is well- equipped and very well servced by Valerie and her Buenos Aires manager, Max. Both responded very quickly to all inquiries. Max was still gving me Argentina travel tips even at checkout. True professionalism highly recommend.

The Perfect "Home Away"
This tidy little apartment with the fantastic view was just the right place for me to stay while exploring Buenos Aires. Nine floors up in a great neighborhood, overlooking the famous Recoleta Cemetery and beyond to the harbor and spectacular sunrises ... it made staying home just as interesting as seeing the sights.
And then there was Max, the most amazing concierge/property manager I have ever encountered! Every question answered, tours, heck, he even had groceries there for me after meeting my 10:00 pm flight.
Thank you Valerie and Max for making sure my adventure in Buenos Aires was a wonderful one!

My friend Carol and I stayed at the apartment from April 19 -25th. It was excellent! I slept in the queen sized murphy bed that comes out of a very pretty wall unit and it was so comfortable! I loved sitting each morning on the balcony, sipping on coffee and looking at the Recoleta Cemetary,which is world renowned. The location was awesome. Right out the door and you are next to a small supermarket and around the corner from several cafes, telephone services, a park that has a craft market on Saturdays and Sundays, etc. Valerie
was extremely accommodating and gave us many helpful hints. Our Buenos Aires experience was great and I would definitely recommend the apartment. I'm looking forward to returning myself some day!!!

Our stay was awesome. The condo was perfect, very accessible to all neighborhoods. We went to all the various locations that were recommended by the condo owners. All were excellant. We enjoyed the quiet getaway in the Recoleta district. It felt like a safe home base during our Buenos Aires visit and we always enjoyed coming home to the apartment at the end of a long day of touring the city. The great view, comfortable bed, wonderful shower and bathroom and full kitchen all helped to make the place live up to the recommendations. Max was a great bonus - very knowledgeable and helpful in every way on our first visit to Buenos Aires. We would happily stay here again and will recommend the place to our friends.
