Loved the quirky old building and the modern makeover of the apartment.

The steps up to the bedroom area were steep and the headroom was low.

Host not responsive: Had to call 3 times to get an answer ! Very difficult & laborious to find the kees in order to get in !! Internet password is 47 characters long, good luck to connect: Anyway, once connected it's slow !!! But the worst of all is that this appartment is not fitted for 4 adults: The very old and crappy sofa bed is 110cm wide, which make it impossible to sleep two adults in it. In fact, I had to go to the hotel with my wife and only my son (+ daughter in law) stayed at the appartment. THIS APPARTMENT SHOULD NOT BE VALIDATED OR RENTED FOR 4 ADULTS (ONLY 2 + 2 kids, maybe..)

The location is super, on a small side street just steps away from bars and market. It has a great shower, well equipped kitchen, and even a small ironing board and iron.

Saturday night was busy in the place des Carmes, and we had to close the velux window to keep out the noise. There is air conditioning in the sleeping mezzanine, so we kept that on.

Location and communication.

I might think this apartment was cool if I was 20, but I'm not. If you need to use the washroom at night, the stairs going down from the bedroom 'loft' verge on dangerous. The linens and pillows are second rate, and the couch is very uncomfortable. The courtyard is un-cared for and depressing. If two people want to go their separate ways during the day or night, it is impossible with only one key, and the electric doors and gate.

This property was well located and safe. It’s near 2 different metro lines, so it’s easy to get around the city. The apartment has everything needed for a great stay and is quite modern within an old building.

There is no lift, so book accordingly. ( not necessarily a negative.)

Compact space with all you could need, location in the heart of beautiful old town Toulouse and Felipe has thought of everything.

Can get noisy at night but if you shut the windows, voila… noise gone. Parking is expensive. 😉

It's in a GREAT location, and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes etc. There was a lot of toilet paper (this is something that rentals often lack for some reason). It had a washer which is a must. The AC worked.

I wasn't certain from the photos what level it was on (1 or 2), it's on level 2 and the staircase is a bit uneven. This wasn't too much of an issue, but if you have a hard time with stairs, this and the uneven stairs to the loft can be an issue.

The upside of this apartment is the location, very central. But we were fooled by the pictures, where the apartment looked great, when in fact it was very disappointing.

The apartment was not well taken care of - the power outlets were falling from the wall, the bed lining was not ironed, a couple of lamps were not working, one of the sheets had a hole... The bed in the room was too short (a tall man would have to sleep with his feet outside the bed). But the worst thing was the cleaning, which was very poor - our shoes were sticking to the floor as we entered, the table were we had our meals was also sticking, behind the couch there was a lot of dirt, there was hair from other guests all over the place, even some garbage was left in a corner.
