The house is gorgeous and fit 8 people comfortably with room to spare. The house exceeded our expectations with beautiful grounds, views and amenities. The kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable and the living room was perfect for a large group. The home was spacious and clean, and it was super easy to check in and out. There was snowfall one evening and the road was plowed before we awoke. We will definitely return!!

We rented this home to host a reunion of friends with four families. The house is large, clean and beautiful. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked and the views/location were perfect. The home-owner was easy to communciate with and left clear instructions for checking and in and out. There was plenty of space and we loved the wrap around porch and fire pit. Would definitely recommend!

Steve's house in Sheffield was absolutely perfect, and exceeded our expectations based on the photos in the listing! The grounds are beautiful, the house was spacious and clean, and we had everything we needed. We loved the large common areas, including the downstairs game room. The location was very convenient to Great Barrington and other nearby towns. Highly recommend!

We rented the house to attend our sons wedding. The location is perfect, on a nice hill with great views and close enough to shops and restaurants. Not to mention the wildlife viewing bear, bobcats and deer eating breakfast every morning in the front yard. The house itself was extraordinary will all the amenities you would ever need, including a garment steamer which came in very handy. The children enjoyed ping pong and the adults the fire pit. The rooms were large and comfortable and the internet was strong. The sleeping areas were all very comfortable and with 4 bathrooms there was no waiting! Our host Steve checked in on us and made sure we were all set for a very relaxing stay. One of the best properties we have ever rented on VRBO and we would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone. Five stars all around.

My family and I gathered at Steve's place for a family reunion, and we couldn't have asked for a better space for all of us to gather. The view is spectacular. We loved roasting marshmallows around the fire pit at night or chilling outside or on the screened porch. The kitchen is massive and has a nice long table for a big group as well. There are plenty of beds and space for indoor hangs as well. The property is very private, and we enjoyed really feeling like we had gotten away from the city. It's minutes away from great hikes and about 15 min from Great Barrington, which is a fun town to walk around in as well. Highly recommend!

This is a lovely, secluded home with a large, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable sleeping areas, and spacious indoor/outdoor areas for all of us to relax and share meals. Steve is a perfect host and provided great suggestions for road biking, swimming and hiking. Six adults and one toddler had the most wonderful family vacation.

We had a wonderful experience renting this property! It was in close proximity to grocery store, bagel shop, restaurants, hiking, winery, and brewery. But it’s also perfect for just staying in! Huge property (inside and out) - wish we could’ve stayed a week to fully take advantage!

This house exceeded our expectations as a place to get our far flung family together for a reunion! The layout of the house is perfect for a large gathering! The huge kitchen table and large patio dining table made gathering for meals easy and pleasurable. The basement area, which we used as the kids space, with its ping pong table, bunk rooms, plenty of space for play, and access to the yard was great! It allowed the kids to have loud play space while adults gathered in the living room to visit and enjoy the fantastic view of the Berkshires. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking, beds and bedding were comfortable, baths were clean and spacious. This house is so well set up and just easy and comfortable to be in, it definitely added to the pleasure of our reunion and we felt lucky we picked this spot. We were nervous about picking a house for this special gathering online, there is always the possibility that the house won't live up to its description or photos. We felt this one exceeded both and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there! By the way, take the owner's direction to not put your trash outside seriously, there are active black bears throughout the area and we got a close view of one that stopped by just as we were leaving the house one morning. Thankfully we didn't have any trash or food outside, but she was definitely checking for it! Overall a fantastic spot, we would rent it again in a heartbeat! Thanks to the owners for offering this space for rent and being available to help us with any questions we had.

This is our third year back at this house and I highly recommend this location. Steve is very easy to work with. He is responsive and always willing to help. The house is clean and roomy and was prefect for our group of 14 for our golf weekend in the Berkshires. Already looking forward to next year.

This home was booked for 15 adults attending a weekend retreat. The weather was misty, which made for more indoor time than expected, yet the enormous windows made us feel like we were outdoors. The natural light and fall colors on the Berkshire Hills set a calming and relaxing back drop. Simply beautiful (picture doesn’t do this home justice). Plenty of gathering spaces for intimate conversations as well as the large group areas with beautiful sunsets. The bathrooms were well designed, modern and spacious. And this newer home was immaculate! The radiant heat floors were heaven on the fall days. Steve was responsive to questions and requests. It was a fabulous stay and would book again!Minor Critiques: the kitchen counters are a bit higher than standard and our 5'2" chef made note of this.The open concept dinning/kitchen/living room was a bit loud during our meals, but have found this is the case with all open concept floor plans. In bedroom 4 & 5, the 3rd bed was a trundle for one and a mattress on the floor for the other.Again, it was a wonderful stay and would book again!

Three families stayed at Steve and Angela's beautiful Berkshire home for a nearby wedding. The house is gorgeous, so clean and comfortable, and it has everything we needed. The huge kitchen table was our main gathering area (along with the screened-in porch before it got too cool). Can't say enough about how great our stay was and how responsive Steve was to any questions we had. Thank you so very much for a great weekend!
