Al nostro arrivo ci hanno offerto da bere e un pasticciotto (tipico dolce leccese). Lo staff è gentilissimo, affettuoso e sorridente. La colazione è ottima e fatta in casa. La dimora è vicina al centro e soprattutto il parcheggio è gratuito

Big mansion within a fenced property with private secure parking, large comfortable room, reasonable sized washroom,, good breakfast with friendly helpful service, 100m or less from one of the old town main gates (Porta San Biagio), coming and going at any time like it's your own home. There is even an elevator if you need one. What more can you ask for? And the owner Manilo is always ready to help. If you need gas for your car, there is one just down the road about 300m away. If you need to do laundry, there is a coin laundromat just a short walk behind the property open 7am til midnight. And food options are aplenty inside the old town. San Biagio is also a convenient pickup and dropoff point for local tours to the vineyards, etc. Our GPS took us through an industrial type area to get to the property, but it turned out to be the shortest, most convenient, and least crowded way. We enjoyed our stay there.

Palazzo nobiliare di inizio `900 costruito come casa padronale, su un palazzo preesistente, dall`imprenditore pugliese in ascesa Nicola De Giorgi ( distilleria con produzione anche di Anisetta ). Nel dopoguerra e`stato sede per oltre 50 anni di un liceo scientifico privato. Abbandonato e dimenticato dagli eredi per oltre 10 anni, e´stato acquistato e restaurato in maniesta stupenda e con gran gusto dall`attuale proprietario Manlio Raimondi. Manlio, dopo avere intrapeso una carriera di successo prima come dipendente e poi come imprenditore, ha deciso di cambiare stile e qualita` vita. Ha venduto infatti le sue attivita´e ha reinvestito nella riqualifica del territorio dove e `nato e cresciuto Bellissima location piena di storia e charme a ridosso del centro storico, porta San Biagio. Ottima colazione. Centro storico tutto pedonale con ZTL che non tange il B&B. Per i cultori della carne di cavallo, andate all´osteria "Da Angiulino". Per coktails al bar 300mila.

Hotel is part of the old town wall. Perfect central location. Interiors have original marble features and have been refurbished and updated beautifully. Mario is a great host from a family with strong cultural ties to the area. Plenty of parking and easy to get to from the motorway.

Great location. Having a private place to park was a bonus! The lady who did breakfast was so kind and pleasant.

L'accueil dans son ensemble était fantastique, tout le personnel nous accueilli et nous a fait sentir "comme à la maison". Le parking privé sur place est un vrai atout pour un périple dans les Pouilles. L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter Lecce à pied.

We did not expect a one hundred yards pool

Perfect swimming pool to cool down! The room was large and very clean. Very friendly owners Price/quality was super good. I would recommend going there!

Breakfast was a bit basic but the coffee was really good!

Can't say more than everything was perfect! The girl that cooked our eggs at breakfast was super friendly, as was the rest of the staff. The room was very nice and clean.

Charming B&B furnished in 1920-style. Excellent location, only a few steps from the historical center with all it‘s baroque and other highlights. Parking space within the enclosed garden was another bonus. In addition we learned to know a host, Manlio, at its best. One can feel his love for his hometown Lecce and his passion as host!! We were welcomed by a coffee Lecce and the typical Salento pastry ‚pasticciotti‘ and given advices for our walk through the city. All this made our stay a highlight of our trip!!!

The property is gorgeous, the location is fantastic. Just a short walk from the old city. Easy free parking. People were so friendly, they couldn't do enough for us. Delia gave us a welcome drink and cake typical of the local area when we arrived and also advised us of places to visit in and around lecce.

Everything was more than wonderful!

Excellent location, 3 minutes away from the old city and with a great private parking. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The room is big enough for a short stay, clean and comfortable. Breakfast could be improved with eggs and vegetables and more salty choice. The shower and WC were ok, only the glass walls were too much for me.

The shower is actually inside the room and completely transparent, so even if you are a couple it is a little uncomfortable. Besides the WC is also behind the glass shower and visible from the bed.

Location right outside the gate to the old town was perfect. The parking on premises was super convenient. The host was both informative and very welcoming. The breakfast attendant/cook was amazing.

The shower and toilet were visible from the bedroom. There should be an optional privacy panel should be considered.

Charming house in excellent location right in the center and with internal parking. Warm welcoming and great hospitality. Lovely, clean and well equipped room, excellent breakfast with lot of options to choose from.

The owner was great, and the welcoming that we received - typical Leccese drink and dolce - were much appreciated. He provided a map as well as recommendations for sights and restaurants (which we tried and enjoyed). The breakfast was well-prepared by a friendly and enthusiastic staff. The location was near the easily-accessible gate to the Centro Storico, and was a relatively short - 700 m. - walk from the train station.

We can't think of anything that we'd change.
