Property is relatively new. Room is spacious and clean. Bed is also big with additional pillows for added comfort. Most rooms are located at the with unobstructed view of the fields.

Our stay at Sipanya was exceptional! Not only were the facilities comfortable and clean, but the staff went above and beyond to help ensure we had the best trip possible!! Special shout-out to Mr Souk for taking us on an excursion to Piew Cave, a Hmong village, and to see the bomb craters on the Ho Chi Minh trail.

Would prefer the shower to be a bit more separated from the rest of the bathroom. When we showered, the whole bathroom got wet.

My short stay at Sipanya Guesthouse in Phônsavan exceeded my expectations. From the considerate attentiveness of the staff, Chinda the On-Site Manager and Mr. Souk, my Tour Guide and Driver, it became clear that the Sipanya Guesthouse prioritizes excellent customer service. I enjoyed a free and timely airport pick-up, a spacious and clean room with en-suite bathroom and a comfortable bed, delicious made-to-order breakfasts, help pre-arranging a tour to several Plain of Jars sites and the Mulberries Organic Silk Farm, and, additionally, the staff showed patience and resourcefulness while helping me resolve a payment issue. But what made the stay most memorable were the hours I spent with Mr. Souk learning about The Secret War, the archaeological digs around the Plain of Jars, and how Laos has changed over time. His tour was informative and really came alive when he shared stories from his own family history. Highly recommend Mr. Souk as a tour guide and Sipanya Gusthouse for a stay in Phônsavan.

The hotel is only 4 or 5 years old so is in good condition. Beds are comfortable, the shower is hot, works for me. The hotel has recently opened a restaurant, breakfast and evening meal are available. One great feature of the hotel is Mr Souk, the hotel’s in-house tour guide. Unfortunately we only had one day to spend in Phonsovan and Mr Souk tailored a private trip for 3 to Plain of Jars sites numbers 1, 2 and 3 and delivered us to the airport in time for our evening flight. Mr Souk speaks good English and is a font of local knowledge, he gets a 10 out of 10.

Qualité d'accueil exceptionnelle à tous égards dans une guest house très bien située,à proximité du centre tout en étant excentrée,jouissant ainsi d'un calme parfait que le voyageur apprécie beaucoup.A cela s'ajoute l'agrement que procure le logement : chambre spacieuses,bien aménagée,bien éclairé,très très propre et une literie dont le confort est de premier ordre.

Il n y a vraiment rien que je n'aie pas apprécié. Je me suis tout de suite très bien dans cette guest house.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and very close (walkable) to the main street. Mr Souk was there when we arrived and greeted us warmly. We ended up joining Mr Souk on an already planned tour of sites 2 & 3 plus noodle making and Spoon Village plus a few other things. The tour was excellent, more than we expected. The makers we met seemed genuine and impressive and it was all timed so we saw no other tourists the whole day. Mr Souk was knowledgeable, insightful, and enjoyable to spend time with. So I highly recommend staying here and/or using Mr Souks guiding services.

Hot water was finicky.
