Big and clean room with a very nice terrace surrounded by nature. The hosts were very friendly. Also, the breakfast was basic, but good. Nothing to complain!

We had a wonderful time staying at the magic mountain Lodge with Ute. She is a very kind and helpful host. We enjoyed it so much that we stopped again on our way back there. The rooms are very clean and big and the garden with the pool is lovely. Everything what you need you can find in the neighbourhood. Totally can recommend to stay here!

Ute prepared a different breakfast every day, always served with fresh juice and several fresh sliced fruit. The Host Ute and Ingo were most gracious and went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay. Ute even procured a birthday cake to celebrate my wife's birthday.

The bed was not that good because the sheets weren’t made of cotton. Polyester sheets aren’t good for sleeping, but it’s a small thing.

I've travelled late and the owners were willing to wait till I arrive. The area is beautiful where in the morning a HoneyBird was busy sucking juice from some flowers just 2m from me. That was awesome.

Breakfast

We wanted to spend a few quiet days away from noise, so we booked two nights at this place. Well done to us, we loved everything about the Magic Mountain Lodge: the first impression is of a well thought, pleasant, harmonious place, with lots of plants and flowers and prestine buildings. The hosts are nice, polite and eager to make you feel welcomed. The room we stayed was spacious, and decorated with good taste and attention to detailes. AC, coffee maker, hot water, Internet, comfortable bed and a sofa. We have never came across a room so clean in Panama, and we visited many, many places. Big windows, lovely terrace with lots of vegetation to admire, glass door so spotless that I almost walked throught it thinking it was open. Last but not least, very quiet. We slept like babies. They have a nice swimming pool for the guests to use and tennis table for entertainment. Breakfast: one of the richest and most well presented we have seen. I could not believe the quality and quantity for the price we paid. It was so good and abundant that we skipped lunch. The structure is 5 miutes driving from town centre, and 15 minutes from the beach. If, like us, you are looking for a relaxing stay close to the beach, this is your place. We will go back as soon as possible. It was special!

Even if we want to be picky, we can't think of anything even slightly negative. The price/quality comparison is unbeatable.

Convenient location close to Hwy and to the beach. Beautiful views of the mountains. Very comfortable & spotless rooms with everything needed for short stay. We had hot water in the shower, no problem. Quiet sitting area on patio, nice and clean pool. The most important the hosts are amazing and very attentive. They will make you feel like at home. They are very helpful and giving great recommendations how to spent time in the area of Las Lajas. The breakfast is delicious and beautifully served at the outdoor dining area with amazing views. We recommend this place to everybody and will be back when travelling toward Boquete area again.

Super nice and quiet place - it's magical! The rooms are nice and clean and you can wake up to the sounds of the birds. The garden is beautiful and you can watch the humming-birds. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The beach is a short car ride away and it is beautiful and very few people - not touristic at all just pure nature. You can watch the native people fishing by hand if you are lucky.

The property is new, only a few years old. The owners found creative ways to beautify the place, like wall paintings of birds and covering the septic tank with a mosaic of blue painted pebbles. We choose the location because it is near a birding hotspot. Breakfast time was adjusted for early birders, which demonstrates flexibility.

too far from beach better hot water in the showers but Uta may have fixed that.

It is small and peaceful. We stayed in a deluxe double room with some extra space because we had both our dogs with us. We did not have to pay extra for the dogs. The hotel is not fully fenced, so you can't let the dogs just wander. The hotel is new, neat, clean, lovely balconies and super little fridge, coffee maker and scrumptious, simple breakfasts. It is much cheaper than the other places closer to the beach, but we didnt mind the drive to the beach anyway.

Our bed was very hard, but Unte kindly helped us out for the 2nd night with a mattress topper. Thank you. I slept so much better!!

The location is beautiful, and Ute is wonderfully kind and welcoming. We very much appreciated the air conditioning in our bedroom, and the view from the breakfast terrace was just lovely. The price was extremely reasonable.

The shower didn’t keep any consistent temperature, going from a few moments of scalding to several moments of freezing.
