Everything was absolutely perfect. The place was amazing, the breakfast was very complete, and the staff was super friendly, especially Youssef that helped us with everything; from the restaurants, to the great guided tour around Fez. If you want a genuine experience go there! They are the best.

The actual Riad is just stunning. The building interior is exquisite, like building art internally. Youssef the manager dude was great. Anything we needed, he was there to facilitate and he’ll with. Lovely balcony for sunset terrace. Fes was a maze of madness, so getting back into the Riad was like a welcoming cool and safe place.
Pool was tiny and freezing. Perfect for coming in from heat outside to dip your body in to cool, but not swimming due to size.

An excellent quality price relation. Extremely forthcoming staff. Both owners very eager to make the stay as good as possible. Prime location in the Medina. Very quiet location and typical country decortion.

The Riad was in a great location. The staff was extremely accommodating and helped us reserve delicious dinners and fun activities!

Nice location and beautiful riad
The Dahlia suite is more of a large room for 3 people, rather than a suite for 4. It is advertised as having a living room and a separate bedroom, while there is no separation at all. Bathroom is also quite small and the shower is ill-designed (impossible not to wet the floor when you take it).

Superb array of regional breakfast pancakes a multitude of other delicacies. Delicious.more like brunch. As well superb addition to original Palace, which I called the Blue Wing, with a lovely basin (not a pool), the Rose Salon cum dining area. Cool, refreshing and as authentic as Moroccan/Andalusian architecture is. Kudos to the Twins for accomplishments during the awful calamity COVID that befell the entire world. My utmost admiration, respect, and LOVE. K Boyd, USA

EVERYTHING! The host was magnificent as was his staff who went above & beyond! The food from their chef was the best meal we've had in Morocco. The interior design was beautiful.

I liked everything about this place. Beautiful building. Most importantly, the friendly, helpful staff were the best I had in all of Morocco.

Room for lose to the kitchen so the smell wafted in our room. Only on our last night but not a big deal.

Breakfast was exceptional. The spread was very elaborate and food was good quality. Riad staff Youssef and Ghizlan took great care of us in making us comfortable and arranging taxis for us and giving us a hand with our luggage. Youssef took a lot of time to share his experiences on seeing places we were going to visit next and staying in touch to help with any questions we may have.
No negative experiences encountered.

We really enjoyed our stay. Le Grand Alcazar is a truly beautiful facility; we loved the decor, the ambiance, and the staff. It is run by identical twin brothers; they and the rest of the staff were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating; always checking in to see if there was anything they could do to improve our stay or to provide tips about touring the city.
Terrific place; highly recommended!
Not a complaint; just an observation; perhaps they could squeeze another table in the dining area to accommodate more guests at a time. It's not that big an issue as the riad only has a few rooms in any case; part of the charm!

This Riad is gorgeous! Especially beautiful mosaics everywhere you look. So grand and elegant, yet quite comfortable. Our room was large and well appointed; the staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast every morning was large, delicious and beautifully presented. We liked everything about this property!
There was nothing not to like!

Kind staff, charming city, impressive Riad, great food, and the list goes on. When you reach Omar and Othmanes Riad, you instantly feel at home, with beautiful and intricate designs on the walls, doors, ceilings you could stay admiring the traditional Moroccan craftsmanship at its best for hours on end. The tajines and breakfast were great and copious, truly representative of Moroccan generosity and gastronomy .

It was an amazing experience staying at this Riad, in the Fez Medina, near to the Bab Bou Jeloud and many main attractions.
As soon as you get in it feels like if you were at the Royal Alcazar of Seville.
The riad was recently renovated, it was beautiful decorated and well preserved with many tile and wood carving details.
The staff was very kind and friendly; the hospitality makes you feel home. During the check in you are welcomed with mint tea and delicious moroccan sweets.
As a woman and solo traveler I appreciated that Yousef was always attentive to my arrival to the riad at night.
The room was beautiful decorated, the bed very comfortable and it has a good size bathroom with hot shower.
The rooftop has a nice view of the Medina, during the day and at night.
The staff used to ask you the time you wanted your breakfast to be served, so it could be ready at the time selected. Besides that, it was delicious.
I had the opportunity to meet one of the owners, Omar, who was willing, not only with me but also with the rest of the guests to make you feel comfortable and at home. He kindly offered me an upgrade to a larger room.
The day I left the riad, Yousef kindly help me with my luggage and to get a cab to the train station.
I can affirm that during my 10 days trip to Morocco, the best experience and stay was at Le Grand Alcazar.
I would definitely recommend this riad and hope to stay here again soon.

Omar and Othmane have careflully restored their Riad to what can be only called a true palace. Absolutely beautiful decor, all original Moroccan handcraft, makes for a stunning setting to sleep, dine or have breakfast. Their professional staff made our stay really wonderful and from our experience with four different Riads, they are definitely the best!

Amazing rooftop garden. The bed was very comfortable. Staff is friendly and responded quickly to questions before we arrived. The breakfast was very good (lots of local pastries and they also offer eggs).
Just be mindful that most (if not all) of the rooms are noisy at certain times of the day as they face the central courtyard. Mornings are particularly busy as they start getting ready for breakfast before 6am. Toilet was smelly and the room was a bit dark (none of our windows looked towards the street). Dinner was nothing special unfortunately.

We loved everything about our stay! The staff was incredible, so thoughtful and always aiming to do more to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The physical space is stunning and the expansion they’re opening is arguably even more beautiful - we hope to come back when it’s operational! The location was perfect for exploring Fes, we were able to walk everywhere. Cannot say enough good things!

We spent a lot of time to choose our place to stay in Fez. Many hours of reading reviews and we we're delighted with our choice. This hotel's attention to detail is simply perfect and we loved our stay ... we we're made to feel it was our new home in Fez. The hotel arranged a taxi for us to pick us up at the airport and it was a very rainy day in February and we we're greated by a very friendly concierge with an umbrella for us to escort us to the hotel ... it was only a short 30 second walk down the narrow streets of the medina to the hotel but was really appreciated ... the room was exceptional sometimes the pictures make the room look better than it is but our room was exactly as described. True to the authentic Marrocon design as the riad was originally designed ... very high ceilings ... beautiful bedroom ... no corners cut to give a true authentic feel as to exactly in the day what it was like to live in such a place ... the staff we're so pleasant .. breakfast and dinner was delightful ... I could not recommend this Riad more. Perfect location to restaurants and walks in the medina. Of course if we visit Fez again we'll be staying here.

Nice riad right in the center of things. Staff were friendly and helpful. Big rooms. Breakfast was nice (lots of options of sweets, eggs, etc.).
The entryway to the bathroom our room was very low (not really something within the riads control), but my husband did hit his head 3 times during the visit, which wasn’t great. Would probably recommend bringing earplugs as can be a bit loud.

We loved our stay at Le Grand Alcazar-Riad.
Omar & Othmane are the best hosts, helping us to really feel like Home. They advised us also with our route arrangements, proposing us a transfer to Tangier through Chefchaouen & Akchour, adapting the whole route and schedule to our needs.
The two smiling Fatimas prepare the best breakfast, and Youssef was very helpful with all our requests.
We enjoyed it so much that we extended the stay with one more night.
We were lucky to enjoy 2 different rooms: Turquoise and Garnet Suite.
We recommend the Le Grand Alcazar - Riad experience, cause it is not merely an accomodation.
We enjoyed everything.
