Cozy and nice neighborhood, the grocery shop is just a few steps away. The apartment is clean and lovely, we enjoyed our stay.

The accommodation was very clean and bright and the location for York was ideal with the bus stop just across the road. The village itself is nice and quiet.

Perfectly peaceful, private and very pretty, with everything we needed for a self contained place to stay within easy reach of York.

Comfortable bed and pillows. Location great. Bus stop into York nearby. Small grocery shop with coffee next door and a stroll to pub.

Excellent location with lovely walks nearby into open countryside. Cottage clean and comfortable and was larger than anticipated. Had a good range of facilities packed in for the size of the space. Having a private small garden area was a bonus especially on such a warm evening. Good communication from hosts who reacted well to the late minute booking.

As it had been a very warm few days the cottage itself was quite hot on arrival. Velux windows could however be left open overnight (with no rain forecast) to allow some ventilation into the space. The fridge had not been switched on and was something that I had to do on arrival to keep milk, etc cool.

The accommodation was well equipped and very private. The weather was excellent so the garden and seating area was brilliant. Parking beside property was a bonus. Short drive to centre of York. Everything you need was supplied.

Quiet self contained property close to bus access to city. Excellent pies available next door in farm shop.

Everything great except only sharp pointed steak knives available. Owner says she's going to add some spreading knives.

This is a lovely little cottage set in its own cute garden. Location is excellent with a Park and Ride nearby for visiting York. The village of Naburn is lovely for an evening walk with a pub, school, church and village hall. Parking is available on site or nearby. The bed was very comfy and the tiny kitchen useful enough for a couple of nights. It was a bit odd that the fridge was not turned on, with just a note attached inviting us to turn it on at the switch if we wanted to use it. The host is very quick to respond to any issues and provides useful information re the surroundings.

Wifi internet was very patchy. We were unable to connect for much of the time.

Location was lovely. Very welcoming and helpful hosts. Property was spotless and well equipped. Bed very comfortable. Would stay here again without hesitation. Great value for money

Little hand written card on arrival with our names and some instructions. Lots of handy information. Very clean and cosy. Next door lovely little shop selling delicious pastries. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a countryside getaway close to the city!

Very private and weĺl located in a safe and friendly area. Janette was very helpful and replied to all of our messages pretty much instantly. She had left us a lovely welcome card with all instructions inside for everything we needed to know. It was immaculately clean and you could tell it is well looked after. Airbnb was just perfect for our family stay and we would definitely book to stay again when visiting York 😊

Property was clean, the building was very modern & the host clearly made an effort to make the stay comfortable, such as leaving local food/travel information and leaving basic necessities for us to use.

Nothing major to mention really. The vents got a little clackidy in the winds throughout the night.
