Lovely place to stay, both me and my wife really enjoyed our time at Hilton House. The house had everthing we needed. Hoping to return again in the future.

Very clean house and good location for the underneath the stars music festival. As we are a couple plus a friend the House size was ideal.

Being a bit picky but electrics could do with redesigning. The light switch for the front room is in the kitchen so you have to walk through a dark room to get to the switch. The light switch for the back bedroom is at the top of the stairs. There are no sockets as such in the main bedroom, instead there is an extension lead, that goes through the wall, from the back bedroom.

We were disappointed in the garden also feel customers should be warned about very steep stairs also it was right next door to a big company with some noise

The house is clean and lovely. You will find everything what you need in the kitchen. The rooms are good size. The bathroom was great. Contact with owner is fantastic, very warm and a nice person. Thank you Andrea:-)

Nice little house

Smelt of fish and states dog friendly I booked it for my son and girlfriend didn’t mention dog as I didn’t think I needed to as it states dog friendly so not happy about dog cause I’d not mention nor stated clearly that they charged extra for dogs

Booking was very quick and efficient, using it for work purposes, great location, good communication and great space for three men. Good use of utensils around the house perfect for us. will be back

The house was clean

Bathroom freezing - no radiator. Mattress in main bed room needs replacing - springs were awful Parking limited Sofa in front room so uncomfortable! We stayed for few days to visit family. Very small house but was all that was available. Don’t know how it can be described as able to house 5! Fortunately one of us was a baby so we managed Advertised as dog friendly but definitely not- only room to keep dogs in at night is front room which meant our two dogs jumped on sofas. Tried to cover up with blankets but as we have a long haired dog who is currently shedding her coat- hair on sofa was inevitable. Hair everywhere is inevitable! No vacuum cleaner for us to sort this. Disgruntled message of owner complaining about it. Don’t allow dogs if you don’t like dog hair! Or provide a vacuum cleaner! Or at least put a door in kitchen so dogs can be locked in there at night which was our original plan. We left a night early as barely got any sleep due to uncomfortable mattress and restless baby and a streetlight right outside window. Not a good house for a baby. Very creaky floors and noisy bed plus bifolding door on bathroom is so noisy! Ended up costing us nearly £500 for a tiny terrace for 3 nights (including their excess cleaning charge they took from our deposit) . Ridiculous really. They claimed they were not going to charge extra £20 per dog for cleaning as was so expensive but then charged it anyway ! Complained about dog poo in garden - the only reasonable part of their complaint (I certainly don’t expect to have to clean an oven whilst on holiday!) unfortunately before we left it snowed quite heavily. I attempted to pick it up but could not really see it under all under all snow. So yeah I missed some dog poo. Short of crawling around on my hands and knees in snow not sure what I could do about that
