Groot appartement met veel faciliteiten. Ruim zitgedeelte, grote keuken en koelkast. Bedden waren prima en veel kastruimte.perfecte locatie midden in de stad.

Veel spullen waren wat gedateerd of aan vervanging toe. Vooral in de badkamer moet onderhoud plaatsvinden, aan het raam en vensterbank, maar ook de douchekop bijvoorbeeld. Ook was er een raam van binnen kapot. Maar dit kan allemaal behoorlijk makkelijk worden verholpen volgens mij met een update. Wat mij verder stoorde was de geluidsoverlast van de andere bewoners van het appartementencomplex als deze het trappenhuis ingingen. De deuren vallen heel hard dicht en zorgt voor veel lawaai dat vooral in de avond en ‘s nachts vervelend is. Ook is er behoorlijk veel geluidsoverlast vanuit de straat, je hoort de gesprekken van de mensen die voorbijkomen erg goed en er komt ook elke ochtend vroeg een vuilniswagen langs. Maar goed deze laatste punten zijn uiteraard onvermijdelijk in de binnenstad. Betere geluidsisolatie is de enige oplossing.

Location good and nice views.

It needs a fair bit of maintenance. 3 out of 4 balcony doors unusable, no windows open, lots of peeling paint on windowsills. The one balcony door that did open had only one latch at the bottom and no door handle. Bit of a strange smell that we attributed to the sofa. It’s 4th floor and no lift, the stairs were hard work.

There is a lot of mold on the windows and they make the area look dirty. There is no door in the shower, so the water spread all over the bathroom floor when I showered. There is no shampoo or shampoo holder in the shower area. There are no nightstands in the bedrooms and reading lamps.

Information not easy to see; would prefer paper copy in apartment rather than online where you have to click on a dozen items to see the data. They instructions are also almost nonexistent. We never could figure out how to use the stove top or the oven. We couldn’t even open the oven when you try to open the oven the whole oven comes out of the counter.

We were told we would have a ground level apartment but it was up 17 stairs. We were told we could check in between 10-11 am but it was locked and not yet cleaned until 1 pm. Difficult to communicate with staff. They didn’t even answer the phone the first time when we were stuck in the hallway waiting.

The apartments were in a fantastic location. We could see the iconic church from our window and there were nice restaurants all within a block or two. A perfect location for walking the city.

There was a lot of pain chipping in the bathroom (on the ledge by the shower) and a cracked window in the master bedroom. Also, communication was a bit slow. We would have liked to have had an extra set of linens in case my son wanted to sleep on the sofa, and there was a better place to stow luggage on our check out day, but all we could do was send a note and hope it was OK with the landlord (we didn't get a reply when we asked).

The location was great yet a bit loud which is fully normal in such a central place.

It would have been great with better fitting blackout curtains to keep even more light out but not a big issue for us.

Very well located in the heart of Reykjavik but you need to be prepared for a noise during night on Saturday. Comfortable beds.

Was expensive and bathroom was very small and not well designed ; water from sink often flowed over and water from the shower wet the entire bathroom.

Nice location in the center with paid and free car park nearby, close to the church and the harbor. The apartment is clean and we like that kitchen is well equipped for us to cook.

A minor downside to the location is the noise from people partying at night, especially Friday and Saturday so beware if you want a quiet sleep. We requested toilet paper and a dishwashing sponge but got no response, only automatic reminders about check in-out. The toilet/shower room is quite small and water easily spills on the floor.

The best location in the city, super comfortable apartment, well equipped and spacious

A shower corner with doors would be a better solution, without the door, the shower was showering the toilet and water was everywhere (even if we tried to shower on as small space as possible :-)). But the apartment is gorgeous!!

The location of this place is excellent. It sits right on the confluence of Reykjavik’s two most popular streets. Everything is just a couple of minutes walk. Some very good restaurants are just around the corner.

Our apartment was on the 4th floor and the building has no elevator. It could be a bit of a challenge for elderly guests. Due to it’s central location it could get noisy, especially on Saturday night when the hustle and bustle never stop.
