The property feels recent as we did no notice any signs of use and is kept very clean. We enjoyed its quietness away from noisy night life and were able to enjoy a very relaxing time. It is ideal for those looking for quietness and still be close to the nightlife (15min away). we found the place to be central and close to all major beaches, including wilder beaches in the north recommended to us by Maria. The hosts Maria and her sister Sofia were very kind and helpful, addressing all our questions and giving top recommendations based on our tastes. Not sure we would make it back to Mykonos, if only to experience again this level of hospitality at Maregold!

The villas were really beautiful with a spectacular view, the staff was really charming and really helped us in explaining the city and choosing entertainment places and restaurants. Our vacation was one of the most beautiful vacations, thanks to the lovely staff, everything was perfect, clean, beyond our expectations. The staff were super friendly and extremely helpful! It was so peaceful and relaxing. The room was comfortable with a nice balcony.

This is a great place to stay in Mykonos with great amenities and very accommodating staff. Maria was always available to give suggestions about activities on the island. Since there are so few rooms in this villa, the staff will have time for you. The villa is beautiful and has a terrific view. The breakfast is great.

If you are traveling alone and want to bring over a friend for a chat, the staff will require their ID. I suggest you don’t use the taxi and ATV rental this property partners with because the offer is less competitive than what’s available otherwise. The staff could better anticipate guests needs. I was asking for a bottle of water every day. The staff could have replaced the water without me bothering them with this question every day. Same with towels for beach. The room was beautifully furnished, however, adding an extra shelf would be more practical than leaving all the staff on the floor.

Cannot begin to describe just how beautiful Maregold is as a hotel. The room is so cozy and the views are stunning! Can sit in the pool, drink beer and just watch the ocean all day. Most of all Dionisis and Mary are incredible! They cook breakfast every day and its amazing! They are always helpful, pleasant and fun as hosts. Thoroughly enjoyed and recommend highly.

Absolutely everything!! Probably the best experience in terms of hostesses of our life. Dionisis, Mary and Sofia are super nice, really helpful. They take the time to help us to plan our day in a very personalized way, depending on what our preferences and mood were, giving us many different options and being always reachable in case we needed something or we had any question. The place is beautiful, quiet, has a good view and a very nice vibe. We loved the pool, sometimes we had to force ourselves to leave the hotel as we were tempted to spend the whole day there. No doubt we are going back! 100% a recomendable experience if you want to be in a place where they make you feel special.

One of the best staff experiences we’ve ever had. He was so accommodating and welcoming. Had amazing suggestions for restaurants and for getting around the island. The property was stunning. Truly beautiful with an amazing pool, views and breakfast. We felt extremely well taken care of.

We were really surprised by the service of this small property. Dionisis and Mary are the best hosts you could ever have on your vacation. Their tips about the island are to the point. Our short stay was not enough to explore the island but these two people made it memorable. The breakfast was more than enough. The cleaning of the room was excellent and of course, if I have to say something about the views I must write for hours. Simply breathtaking!!! We are planning our next trip to Mykonos and Maregold is a must.

Lack of storage place

The Owner-Couple is one of the loveliest we have ever met. They do their very best to make your stay extraordinary - every day. You can feel the love they put into their little hotel every day.

We absolutely loved our time at Maregold hotel. The view from the property on the sea and the mountains is simply breathtaking! It is a very quiet area but very close to Elia beach (which was also one of the best we visited on the island). The hotel is brand new, stylish and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, prepared out of fresh local products. Mary and Dionisis are the best hosts we ever had. They were very kind and helped us with the reservations and tips about visiting Mykonos. I can't stop thanking you for making our trip so special :-)

Everything was marvellous. I think Mary and Dionisis have really thought of all the small details, I can't think of anything that needs further improvement. I just wish they could open more hotels in different locations so that we could enjoy the same level of hospitality. I am normally not this emotional, but it was truly the best experience I had.

Location means a rental car would be useful

Nicely decorated and practical, romantic private pool with an amazing view and closeness to the Elia beach via Hiking 10min or car 5 min, nice breakfast and extremely friendly staff :)

To get the view, visitors will need a good car or fit legs to get there due to the steep streets. Shopping, restaurants or night entertainment not close by, so recommended to have a vehicle.

What we most enjoyed was everything! From the various and tasty ,fresh breakfast to the amazing room with the spectacular view! The whole environment gives you the sense of relaxing ! The room was perfect ,clean and our terrace amazing with an incredible view ! Overall everything was much more than we expected to be and we can't wait to be back soon!

It was a travel stop for one day but the experience we had was incredible. If we knew about this property earlier we could have changed our vacations and stay longer. The service was excellent. Mary and Dionisis are beyond good and helpful. The breakfast they prepare every day is fantastic with a variety of goods. Please try the homemade marmalade and the homemade cakes they, make. The property is located up on a hill and the view is breathtaking. Rooms are super super clean and spacious. The only regret that we had is that we stayed only for a day. But we are very happy because we know where our stay is going to be when we return to Mykonos.

Everything was perfect at Maregold! We loved the level of care that Dionisis and Maria have dedicated to us and to refurbish the hotel. The hotel structure is amazing, with the infinity pool overlooking the bay of Elia beach. Elia beach can be easily reached walking (around 15mins under the sun) or by bus (1 stop). The Argan suite was perfect! Every minimal detail was well thought through and the private pool was the cherry on top!! Suites are very well organized with the right level of privacy. We will be definitely going back soon. Having a car is for sure a plus; however you can still reach Mykonos city center through a bus that stops 10min walk away from the hotel. The bus runs every 2 hours and the last ride back to the hotel from the city center is around 7pm. In that case, you can always catch a taxi back for around 40 EUR.

Dionisis en Mary are the owners of the hotel. There really are a lovely couple. They are also a guide they help you with everything you need or want. The hotel is at a quit place with a amazing view! close to Lia and Elia beach. The room with private jacuzzi was amazing! We also had a nice terrace next to our jacuzzi. The food —) breakfast and diner were also really good. We will go back for sure!!
