The grounds of this hotel were stunning. The pool is fantastic and the gardens lovingly maintained.

The hotel honestly seemed like an afterthought. The exterior and grounds were gorgeous but the rooms were very dated and undecorated. The mattress barely passable. The bathroom really needs attention, the shower curtain in mine was cut at the bottom with strands of fabric hanging down. The shower itself had seen better days. I honestly spent more time at the neighboring hotel restaurant and bar, Agrari Beach.

Hotel rooms need to be renovated. I am not looking for luxury, just simple basic renovation I am talking. Shower cabin, sink area need to be updated. I found mirror between bed and sink strange and dangerous. It is not clean and bed sheets and towels are very old.

All the staff were friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Food in the restaurant was fresh and delicious. Hotel is right on the beach and the beach is beautiful.

Nothing not to like. Note that the hotel is on an isolated beach with a 15 minute taxi ride to the town, clubs, or the bigger beaches, at a cost of around 35 Euros each way. But this is what we wanted - peace and isolation.

The room size was excellent and met our expectations. Breakfast was good, but could be switched up a bit, and serve more fresh fruit instead of every day leftovers and canned peach. The beach is phenomenal and highly underrated. In our opinion, this is one of the best beaches on the island, especially if you are looking for something a little more quite and less rocky.

The water from the showers and faucets at the hotel taste like rust and was very salty. We really believe this could be a potential health hazard. There was no WiFi in the room, we could not even stream a 3 minute YouTube video from our bedroom. If you needed to take a work call via teams or Skype, this is not possible. Staff mentioned they would call the technician, but nothing was done to resolve this issue. We asked other guests at the pool, and they had the same issues with WiFi. The hotel amenities need serious upgrading. Invest in new beach / pool chairs. Provide clean towels and clean sheets when requested. Staff should be using cleaning products when mopping / sweeping, not just water. We stayed for over a week and our floors were filthy to a point where our feet were black from dirt and sand. We needed to walk on towels just to not bring dirt into our bed.

Very small room. We had a junior suite and it didn’t even have privacy to the toilet. Although the hotel is right on the beach but it doesn’t provide complementary beach sun beds. One have to pay 35 Euros per day and because Mykonos is very windy which makes it hard to put your own umbrella out.

We liked the room with the sea view very much and friendly staff. The whole area is very nice and clean. It met our expectations - to find peace and go away from hustle and bustle. They also have a nice swimming pool area with the beach bar and it's very close to the beach. Really dreamy location.

We didn't like the restaurant, the food is average, small portions. The food is okay at the bar, but in the restaurant there should be more choice (for dinner). We also missed some 'night life' at the hotel. Not necessarily the party, but at least something interesting going on there. Guests have nothing to do there at 8 p.m., it's like ghost town. It can get boring after two days, because the town and tavernas are not so close.

Lovely little hotel with a great location (next to a delightful beach at this price in Mykonos is hard to find), nicely designed and well finished rooms with fantastic helpful staff, all round great value for money.

The layout means that not many of the rooms and a nice view and there seems to be no soundproofing around any of the rooms, you could literally listen to conversations from your neighbours lying in bed!

The room is in front of swimming pool and beach.

I booked the Grand Suite and the confirmation listed the room includes dinning table and chairs and sofa but all those items didn’t provide. The room is very small for 4 persons. The spa and wellness facilities didn’t exist as the hotel just using outsources. The staff is not very held to arrange transfer to the port and just gave use a telephone number for use to contact.

Location and staff were excellent. Very quiet and isolated place, food and drinks were average with reasonable prices for the island. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

No shop nearby. Water from shower and from pool was still slightly salty and was not great for washing after being in the sea. Water from sink stained my white shirt to green, i am not sure if it was water or pipes fault.

it was in the middle of no where really, no shops or anything close by, have to get a taxi if you want to go anywhere (usually around €40 each way). the shower was quite small so the curtain ends up sticking to you whilst you stand there.

Good hospitality at your hotel. I don't think I'll ever forget it in my life. I would be very happy if you could make me your regular customer. I would love to come to your hotel and enjoy it with you again and again.

1. Restaurant food at lunch time was not tasty 2. Swimming pool freezing cold in middle of July and unbearable,no one could swim in it 3. Lunch time restaurant menu was not tasty - some dishes inedible, but priced at EUR17 each?! 3. Dinner menu poor, same as lunch menu. 4. Pool bar drinks were overpriced and did not taste right. Eg. Pina colada EUR12 & didnt taste like a pina colada, just tasted like pineapple juice. 6. Ordered a mocha in the afternoon but it didnr taste like a mocha, tasted below average. 7. Hotel needs to hire new lunch chef & buy appropriate ingredients for pina colada & mocha. 8. House keeping could have been better-we arrived and found dead insects on the shower room window sill 9. Shower was rusty & broken parts 10. Cant see the beach or sea from pool lounges 11. Lobby was old and dated 12. Room was cold & bare, too minimalistic, needs soft furnishings to give more warmth & comfort. 13. Fridge smelt of goats cheese

Situated on a very quiet beach with only the hotel restaurant and another beach bar restaurant. ideal if you want to do nothing other than relax. so be warned when weather is windy this bay is not sheltered.

Old towels and small shower space.

It’s a beautiful spot with beach and pool. It was perfect for a family of 4. We preferred staying away from the crowd and just enjoy the pool and beach. There’s another nice restaurant next door.

The pool towels and room towels could be upgraded. It’s definitely a bit far (5km) from the town if you’re into partying and you need a car/scooter or a taxi (40 euro). There is no supermarket to buy anything, buy before you get there.

There was nothing not to like. It was great. Great location, great facilities, great people, great food.

Right from the first impression I knew this would be unique time. The hotel is small but full of character. Stylish yet simple. I loved the place. I had never been to Mykanos before but now I have an annual date in my diary to return. The people running the hotel, the staff all faultless. I would highly recommend the Sunrise to anyone going to Mykanos. Made some new friends and there are guests from all over the world.

Beautiful quiet bay. The bar/restaurant next door has a great vibe and good menu. Less then 20 minutes drive from Mykonos town, or less then 30 minutes from te busy beaches. It is a narrow, winding road, last bit of style. So make sure you can drive well if you want to do this with a scooter. Lovely environment though.

Before our arrival we received an email asking if we wanted an upgrade to a newly renovated room (+30 euros), we agreed. Upon arrival, the room appeared to have not just been renovated. The mattress was good! However, the bed linen had yellow stains, a zipper of a decorative pillow was broken, the sheet over the mattress is just too small so that you lie on the mattress at night. There was mold on the wall between the shower and the sink. There was no telephone in the room to call the reception (they came to bring it when we contacted them by mobile). The contents of the refrigerator were lukewarm, we immediately got a new refrigerator, but the refrigerator makes noise and is next to your bed, so not pleasant for a night's sleep. Furthermore, the water of the hotel comes from a well. As a result, the water smells and tastes of rust and salt. They assured us that this is tested and safe, but it is not very tasty. Glasses and cutlery were not clean at breakfast. And the towels you can get at the reception for the pool are old and frayed. When we discussed it with management (not to get a refund, but just to point out to them that it's not good to sell an upgrade that you can't live up to, we only got into discussion). Such a shame, because they are located in a beautiful bay. But for hospitality, good food and an attractive terrace you really have to go to the neighbors of this hotel.

The location is brilliant, excellent for some relaxation, food was delicious and awesome breakfast in the morning a good variety to choose from. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room is beautiful
