Comfortable home for our stay. Host was very responsive.

We stayed at a mountain house that had no heat, until the management team sent a repairman. After the heating was fixed we had an amazing stay.

Property was nice and big house was freezing at arrival and down stairs took awhile to warm up. But overall had a great stay would rent again

Smelly kitchen but quiet neighborhood
The neighborhood was quiet and the house was relatively clean. There was a persistent and very unpleasant stench in the kitchen sink drain that we could not clear. Luckily, we didn't need to cook that weekend or it would have been unbearable. The backyard had some old fountain that was not working, and the mosquitos were awful. When we first arrived, the air conditioning wouldn't turn on, but we called the contact and someone came to fix it right away. We appreciated that service.

Location was nice, But home needs a deep clean. deep clean
Our overall stay wasn't what I expected.. in the description first of all it says to enter Jacuzzi at your own risk which is hot tub.. but there is no hot tub at the property. The home needs an overall deep, deep clean. And maybe get on to pest control because there was numerous spiders that I killed on are stay I even purchased a bug spray to try to help. Keep them from coming out. The beds were comfy that was a plus side to the home.

Great bones
A nice house showing signs of age and disuse. Backyard a mixed blessing, nice patio and large shade tree, broken furniture, dead vines and non functioning water feature. Kitchen supplies minimal...servings for seven in a house that sleeps eight, etc. Potential to be “upscale” but not there yet.

This home was falsely represented on VRBO and is in no condition to be rented. Overall, it was filthy and not the "Upscale Vacation Home" it was listed as. The home was over 20 years old and had not been updated since original construction. The first and most disturbing item was the smoke detectors were disconnected from the ceiling and sitting in a closet. How could anyone in good conscience rent a home without functioning smoke detectors? The television in the master bedroom was not working. I contacted the property manager and informed him of the issues. He said he would address it, but he never called me back or scheduled the repairs. In addition to the TV not working, the leg of the TV was broken and it was being held up on a cabinet with a plastic container. A chair in the master bedroom was broken. The towel rack in the master bath had been torn off the wall, The shower doors had no brackets to support the bottom of the door and they would push out when you closed or open the door. One of the two sinks in the bathroom drained so slowly, it was unusable. The sliding glass door in the living room did not latch and a wood dowel was placed in the track to keep it closed. The vertical blinds in the door were inoperable and could not be opened. One of the blinds in the living room had collapsed and was being held on by the cord. The furniture looked like it had been purchased at a yard sale. The house was advertised as having a two car garage, however, half of the garage was full of old furniture and junk and would barely accommodate one vehicle. The countertop in the kitchen had a large burn on it. We were there for two weeks and there were 3 rolls of toilet paper in the house. We feel we were taken advantage of by the property owner. We were in between houses and had two pets and had no other option but to stay as there were no other properties available which would accept pets. I contacted the property manager and requested a partial refund. He denied my request and had been unresponsive. DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY OR ANY OTHER PROPERTY FROM THIS OWNER!

Dirty, damaged, and disappointing
I contacted the owner before renting w/ 2 questions & never heard back. We decided to rent anyway. Again asked a question during booking & didn’t hear back. 2.5 hours before arrival we still didn’t have info on how to access property though agreement says we will be notified 10 days prior.
First thing we noticed was a leak above the kitchen sink. Let the person who stopped by to drop off supplies know & he said they had fixed it once and would let the owner know.
Next day was Thanksgiving & I didn’t want to bother the owner, but within our first day there we discovered a list of issues: front door has no latch & must be deadbolted at all times (annoying when you’re in/out w/ kids, you can’t lock door one handed because one hand has to hold door securely shut), one Bed was broken (hubby had to disassemble & put mattress set on floor), leak was generally a slow drip unless someone flushed upstairs toilet which caused a gush of water, cabinet in one bedroom was broken, baseboard in upstairs bathroom appeared to have water damage & was shredded & in need of replacing, dust ruffle on master bed was torn off and hanging on one side, dining room chairs were broken, one sink drain had tape wrapped around it preventing sink from draining, neither yard appeared maintained, fridge filter needed changing, and the garage remote died.
The house was also in need of deep cleaning. The blinds were filthy, especially upper blinds. They were so dirty I thought maybe they were damaged until I used the broom to sweep part of them. They are white blinds that are so dirty they are literally brown. plant shelves in the living room & master bedroom were covered in a layer of dirt. When I swept the dining room, a coating of dog hair came off the the baseboard area. Area rug in the TV room was stained & coated in dog hair. We found garbage from previous tenants under the couch in the living room. I would highly recommend a vacuum be added so people have the ability to vacuum the carpeted areas.
I contacted Joshua about the issues. I would expect these things be remedied before our visit, especially since we paid nearly double the price for a holiday weekend. He apologized and said he hasn’t been able to get services because of the pandemic. These are not new issues and could easily be fixed with regular maintenance. There is no excuse to charge a premium rate and rent something out in this condition. We would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Very convenient and comfortable home
We really liked the lay-out of this house for our stay. The kitchen had a decent amount of cookware, including a colander for draining spaghetti! The back patio made for a nice eating area of dinner and breakfast.
Joshua was available when we called, and he brought by a new gas tank for the grill when it ran out.
I'd recommend this house for a family who needs a bit of room and will be cooking during their stay.

Nice but basic.
This was a great stop for us and provided all of our needs, but it wasn't exactly "cozy". It was stocked but very basic with minimal home decor or personality. The foosball table was great for the kids.

Joshua was helpful with 2 special requests.

GREAT!

The first thing we noticed walking in is the foosball table! Then, in the upstairs bedroom is a little stand up Atari arcade! We played that a ton and don't even have kids in our group! The house is clean and the master bedroom is VERY comfortable. Full kitchen that came stocked with coffee (very helpful). Laundry room with detergent, and even basic toiletries for the bathrooms. Joshua was really great and left clear instructions for everything we needed. Quiet, centrally located neighborhood. Also, about a half mile stroll west, past Wyoming Blvd, is the lovely Noreste Park. It's worth a stroll on the Diversion Cave Trail - especially at sunset when you get the Sandias to the East turning pink and the city below you to the East. Highly recommend a stay here!
