We had a brilliant 3 days at Roysth Estate! It was the last leg on our 2 week trip with out 18 month old around Sri Lanka and certainly the highlight! So many thoughtful details such as a baby monitor set up in our room and placing us close to the action so we could allow Arthur to nap whilst we were by the pool! The food was insanely good and the tea factory tour was fascinating! The staff were all so accommodating and delightful with out son. He was so well looked after and became a huge fan of hoppers and roti! Neil and Farzana were fabulous hosts and made you feel at home instantly- when we arrived it felt more like arriving to a family party than a hotel! The rooms were lovely and the whole hotel has been decorated in such a thoughtful and tasteful manner. The spa was also brilliant- the complimentary foot massage on arrival was very welcome after a long drive! Would highly recommend to anyone, especially as its only just over 2 hours from the airport so makes an ideal place to get over jetlag or top off a trip!

Very nice quiet place, it was the perfect overnight stopover. We spend one day and it’s fair enough. Nice food and dining area.

All the food tasted amazing. The staff were absolutely fantastic. We were well and truly spoilt.

It’s a bit out of the way but it is worth it to be fully submerged in nature and for the peace and quiet.

Nice place, amazing staff, great owners. The territory of the hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature. Amazing views from the mountain slope where the hotel is located. The food is served like a restaurant, with a wide variety of snacks, as well as a demonstration of the cooking process of local dishes during dinner.

In general, there was nothing wrong with Rosyth but it didn't reach our expectations. The food was average so staying somewhere were you cannot get anyway, not even a Tuk Tuk to take you out, it was limited. There was one thing that was lovely was the cold pool, very refreshing!

The service was at times over powering, e.g. after every meal, they wanted what you wanted for the next! At times the waiters would stand over you and almost look like they want to watch you eat. The place is a small hotel and needs to have great understated service were, when you need something, they re there but not in your face

The serenity, beauty of the architecture, stunning location amongst lush tropical greenery, monkeys, birds & butterflies. Staff could not have been more helpful. I would highly recommend Rosyth Estate House. You can relax and unwind with the Spa facilities or visit a variety of places not too far away. Sri Lanka is a very special place.
