The property was everything advertised and more. The owner was phenomenal. We have booked thru VRBO before and this property met our expectations and beyond. The Lake is a hidden gem in the Alexander area and very clean with not much boat traffic. Our family caught a bunch of panfish as fast as you can reel them in. We also caught an abundance of Pike. All fish we caught and released. We could of eaten fish all week! We will definitely be back again!

We booked this for 3 days for our daughters wedding weekend. It was very clean and spacious. The porch had great lighting to do hair and makeup. It was nice for the bride to relax by the lake in the morning with bridesmaids. The day after the wedding was so windy we were unable to utilize the water toys but did enjoy a dip in the lake and the peaceful setting to relax. Would love to come back and use the lake another time. Erik was great with responding anytime I had a question prior to our stay. Great host!!

This was a great location for our friend reunion. We loved the added option to rent the pontoon. The bedrooms were decent sizes and it was great to have a basement with a TV that was separate from the rest of the bedrooms.

My family of 13 thoroughly enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards, adults and teenagers! A little bit of a walk down the steps to the lake but a good workout. The view from the screened in porch was excellent. Very updated kitchen and bathrooms. Only a mile or two out of town. Will stay again when back up in the area.

The cabin was nicely updated, clean and had everything we needed for our week up there. It had plenty of space for our family and the bedrooms were plenty big. The kids loved swimming in the lake and using the paddle boards. It is in a very convenient location close to stores and restaurants as well.

This house was perfect for our family vacation! Our group included two teenagers who enjoyed using the paddleboards and kayaks. Looking out from inside the house, felt like being in a tree house. The lakeside patio was a great place to relax. We also rented the pontoon for the week which provided endless hours of boat rides and fishing. The house was stocked with everything that you could possibly need.

This cabin is absolutely beautiful! We had 8 adults in our group and there was still plenty of room! The location is amazing and pretty easy to find! The lake wasn't crowded at all so it was easy to float and fish off the dock. The guys in our group loved the paddle boards as well. Erik made the check in/check out process a breeze. He was very responsive and easy to communicate with!

This was the best VRBO that we have rented over the years. The house itself is a perfect layout for a varied crew. We had 4 adults, a teenager, and 2 kids under 7. The layout gave everyone their own space and at the same time no one was isolated. The whole reason for renting a house in the first place is to have the comforts of home. Too many rentals fall short in this category but not this place-- it had everything you need and more. Kitchen beautifully stocked, plenty of bedding, and lots of gear to enjoy the lake (kayaks, paddle boards, inner tubes). There is a pontoon available for rent (extra charge for that, very reasonable) but we weren't able to take advantage of it this time. The beds were very comfortable, the A/C worked beautifully, it was easy to find things, the place was CLEAN, the owner was very quick and efficient at communicating. We would rent again in a heartbeat!

The location on the lake and proximity to town were perfect, the furnishings comfortable and lovely, the home was well appointed with every amenity included. We loved our time enjoying a lakeside bonfire, bird and wildlife watching and exploring the area. The hosts were helpful, communicative and ensured a perfect stay.

The weather cooperated for the most part to enjoy the amenties of the rental. The layout of the cabin was great! The pontoon, kayaks and paddle boards were a lot of fun for all of us and the lake was very clean. We enjoyed our time together with siblings and family around the fire but there wasn't enough fire wood on the premises to accommodate our entire stay when we arrived. Just another trip to town which was close enough not to be too much of a burden. As far as cleanliness, it could have been much better. The bathroom showers and vanity tops and floors thoughout were for the most part clean but I did have to reclean the toilet bases and wipe the floor that the base sits on. There was spotty urine on the sides of the toilet base and dust/grime on the floor around the back of the toilets. Cobwebs were behind every closed door corner. My husband and I spent over 2 hrs. dusting the entire cabin and cleaning the kitchen dishes, cooking utensils and pots and pans before other guests arrived because they were spotty clean and then dirty. So, to be safe - clean them all! The microwave hood that sits above the stovetop was caked with grease and the inside of the oven is in dire need of a self-cleaning. Its a push of a button! Cleaning those areas would have been above and beyond the call of duty. The ceiling fans, most surfaces and door panels/baseboard edges were caked with dust. It would have been helpful to have the kitchen drawers and cabinets, closets and laundry room area in a more orderly fashion as well. Basically, we really had to poke around to find necessary items. The owner was great to work with though. In our opinion, he's paying his cleaning crew too much for the job they are doing for him. With the amount people this cabin can accommodate and rental turnover, the crew should be practicing a more thorough/deeper clean tactic rather than the surface cleaning they are currently doing. With that said, we would come back again. The perks out-weighed the inconveniences.

The house was roomy and nice for us ten women. Beautiful view, quiet neighborhood. Well stocked! The only concern was with the driveway. It was icy. There was salt for us to use, but would have been better for it to have been put on before we got there, Eric was great to work with. I hope to come back with my family in the summer.

We stayed here with our five small children and had a phenomenal time! Erik is a wonderful, accommodating, responsive host and was so kind to work with our schedule due to a snow storm. The home is sparkling clean and we appreciated the large kitchen stocked with everything you’d need for cooking. We absolutely loved staying here and will definitely be back!

Great fishing, great amenities, wonderful owner.

Check in process was simple, and had great communication with the owner. We have a large family with several kids. The five bedrooms made this simple. The house was clean and had everything we could need. The stairs leading to the dock were tricky and might be a problem for small kids. We had ok results fishing. We caught lots of crappie and bass, but most were really small. We only caught one walleye all week. Overall we had a great experience with this property, and we'll consider staying here again next year.

There is no beach front but lake is sandy on the bottom. We just put up a lily pad and the younger kids had a great time using that.

The lake is beautiful and peaceful, not a lot of boat traffic even on the weekends.

Nine adults and six small children enjoyed a magical Christmas get together on a secluded lake in an amazing updated log cabin. Favorites were: relaxing in the front sun room, cooking meals in the functional and tastefully updated kitchen, comfortable beds and locations in the cabin that allowed for privacy and napping, having folding chairs and table available for meals and games, being close to Alexandria for supplies and groceries and working with the owner Erik who was responsive and accommodating. An added bonus for our active family was being able to ice fish in front of the cabin and enjoy sledding nearby. We came away with some amazing moments together and memories for a life time.

I cannot think of a better place to have stayed in the Alex area for my son's wedding. Beautiful home right on Lake Victoria, with all of the amenities one could ever want or need. This home has easy access to all of your shopping needs, yet when you are at the cabin you are swept away by the beauty and quiet of the woods and the lake. I slept out on the sun porch, which forever will be known by me as the Tree Fort. Stunning views morning, noon and night. My family and I oohed and aahed over and over again at the spaciousness of the cabin, the fabulously clear lake, and most importantly the graciousness of the owner Erik at providing so much in his beautiful lake home. Lasting memories were made and will be forever cherished at this fine property.

My family has been coming to Lake Victoria for 15 years. Our previous rental was sold last year so we needed to find a new place to stay. All I can say is that I wish we would have found this place years ago! Overall, the home is very clean, nicely updated and offered a lot of space for 12 of us to spread out. The bedrooms were all spacious and the beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are also nicely updated and come with bath and hand towels to use. We do all our own cooking for the week so having a huge kitchen out of which to work and the grill right outside on the main level was awesome! The sunroom was a great place to sit in the morning and watch the sun rise. It was also very comfortable in the evening with the windows open listening to the waves splash against the beach below. The dock and deck down by the lake were also popular spots to relax! On top of all that, the owners were very pleasant and accommodating. Highly recommend a stay here. We have already booked it again for next year!

Beautiful home in a beautiful location. There were six of us women in town for the state bowling tournament. Couldn't have been more perfect. Plenty of room, comfortable beds and furniture. My favorite spot to be was the sun room. Right over the lake and very inviting. My bowling team mates were very impressed with my find and I enjoyed the praises. :) Jonah is awesome and helpful to work with and I would recommend his rental in a heartbeat.

Jonah was wonderful to work with. Cabin has been beautifully remodeled. There were four families who stayed, all with kids, and there was enough room for everyone. The bedrooms had room for the kids to sleep on the floor. Plus the basement living room had a door on it, so it could be used as another sleeping area. The cabin was only a few minutes from restaurants and stores. Wonderful place for a family getaway!

We stayed here with a group of 10 ladies. We had a wonderful weekend and all really enjoyed the house. There was plenty of room for all of us and it's so much better than staying in a hotel. The house was spotless and very cozy. We didn't do much cooking but appeared there were plenty of dishes, etc. if needed. Beautiful view of the lake. Very close to town if needed. I would definitely stay here again.

The location was great. Very roomy and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of blankets and towels.

This property was perfect for our annual girls weekend! There were 11 of us ranging from 29-81 and the space was ideal for us! There was so much room and having a full kitchen to cook our own meals in was great. There are many restaurants nearby as well, which we also took advantage of. The home is well maintained and we looks just like the pictures. Jonah was super easy to work with and we would definitely recommend staying in this cabin!!

My whole family was able to stay in this cabin very nicely! We had a lot of space for the 3 families. We loved being all together in one place! Jonah was very nice to work with! We are hoping to come again sometime soon!!

We had a wonderful family vacation. The cabin/house was very room and clean. It had everything we needed to make our vacation a great one. The lake was calm all week long even when other lakes had large waves. Great for the grand kids to go tubing. Everyone had a very enjoyable time.

My family and I had a fantastic time staying at this property. With the house being so big, it gave everyone their own space. Very clean and comfortable surroundings. We will definitely be staying at this property again. Thanks to the owners for making our family vacation so much fun!
