The location of the hotel is perfect for a short Malmö visit as it is right in the hear of the city. The room was very nice and really roomy. The breakfast was great and we even could ask for an expresso (a good one) w/o extra cost.

The bed was too soft (someone might like it). The elevator wasn't working and not repaired and as far as I can see from previous comments this is something that happens often.

Central location, large sauna + gym & free bike rental. Breakfast was also great loads of choices and nice quality.

We could hear upstairs banging around all night but thats not a hotel problem. No control over in room heating.

The sweetest female receptionist, helped us to find the Best suitable room for our family needs and expectations. She really did an excellent job for us and our kids.

Location, cleanliness, cleaning staff were friendly, breakfast was of good quality with versatile food options, kitchen staff friendly and went out of their way to take care of their customers, nice building design and neat clean room.

The elevator was not operational for the entire stay (2 nights), which we were only informed on after payment was made (despite the fact that we called earlier that day prior to making the booking to confirm that everything was in operational state). When we complained about false advertising and the inconvenience, not only did the staff not offer a refund but also did not do anything to make up for the inconvenience caused by non-functioning elevator (eg. Help carrying suitcase up to the top floor or even change the room to a lower floor). Both management and reception staff of this hotel do not have either the mindset or the customer service skills to work in hospitality. For a supposedly 4 star establishment the staff should value the customer experience and aim for repeat business. Both management and reception staff had a mindset of doing bare minimum no matter the circumstances. People like this ruin the reputation of the Scandic Hotel brand.

Central location in Malmo, close to many good restaurants, some with Michelin stars! Room was good and I was even able to get an early check in!

seems quite run down. No bar or restaurant except for breakfast.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was great - everything was close by.

The hotel is right next to a night club and lots of late bars. As a result all of the rooms are very noisy at night. Sound proofing non-existent. Asked to move rooms but was told my room was actually one of the better ones. Was given a free pair of ear plugs instead!!! Also a lot of light from surrounding buildings lit up my bedroom at night - again no attempt to black out the light. Weekend breakfast was good, but inexplicably the hotel only serves breakfast until 9am on a weekday. Not exactly the relaxing start to a day’s holiday. Also the breakfast stopped at 9am SHARP which also bordered on the impolite.

This place is perfect. Everything from the location to the amenities is perfect.

My room has a balcony but cannot open. It was locked. On 4* hotel there is no fridge with bevarage on room.
