The hotel has a very nice spa area with no extra cost. The breakfast was exellence and there is free parking. Free coffee and tea in the lobby as well in the room.

Very nice swedish country side experience! Great service and very nice rooms!

Great breakfast and we liked the style of the place. Staff were really friendly. A great base to have a day's hike in the nearby Ecopark. Sadly for us we didn't see any live elk, but we had a nice time anyway.

Nice, calm area. Being there feels like you moved back to the 19th century. Really nice personnel, free water and coffee in the lobby. Really good breakfast, made straight for you. The sauna in the bathroom made my day!

The room was not clean enough. I felt like the cleaning was done like 1-2 months ago (maybe the room was unused for a long time).

surrounded by roads, although not very busy rooms are joined with door, very convenient for families, however not if you have other neighbours with different regime to your day

The room is very nicely styled, makes you feel right at home. Bathroom looks a little more old-fashioned, but still decent. The facilities and breakfast are great. The building looks very picturesque as well.

The staff was very kind and helpful - even when the assigned room still had not been cleaned.

We were given a room that had not been cleaned. We were then given a smaller and darker room, cracks in bathroom tiles only to find that there were no towels. Back to the reception (again very kind and smiling) where they apparently knew there was a problem with the laundry. They could have informed us about this and spared us yet another bad experience.

Check in took 13-15 min. - a good part of the time because the lonely receptionist spent a lot of time speaking on the phone. When we finally got the key for our prebooked and prepaid room, 5 guests had lined up in a que behind us. When waiting some time at the restaurant to get a table, finally someone turned up to "help" us - but the attitude was for sure quite ignorant and unfriendly. So we decided to go to another restaurant in the city. The floor in the room was rather dirty, and 6 light bulbs in the room did not work. But more impressive was, that in the chandelier in the breakfast room 11 light bulbs out of 14 did not work !! During the years, we have stayed at the hotel many times, but since our last stay 3 years ago, the standard has declined very considerably.

Still the prefered place to stay when in Trollhättan/Vänersborg region. Fainted, beautiful estate, however the golden days here are over and gone. Thanks for the upgrade to the annex building. Staff is very helpful and kind. Good people. Overwhelming breakfast. Once the hotel of the stars when movies were shot at Trollywood. This time it was quiet as we had the annex building in the garden. Very spacious. Overall, please keep this place running and alive. Thanks for your hospitality.

Could have been warmer in the room. Bed was too soft.
