Nothing to like, accept it was a bed and shower after 40 hours flying. We should have paid $50 more and stayed at IBIS in 4*

It was so bad, my wife and I have no words. It was so bad and we will never book a room on Booking.com again, we will stay with IBIS Kept awake until 3am, then all the other noise from 6am. No one had any respect for other room mates. No one to call or do anything about the bad things. All bad!!! Bed was bad. Towels a problem.

pretty good location but not sign posted very well & the address on booking.com takes you to the wrong address.

bedding smelt musty, kettle was mouldy, window wouldn’t shut properly, door handle on the toilet door came off, shower covered in limescale, stains on bedding & towels, mould on the bathroom ceiling, floor looks like it’s never seen a mop, extra charge for parking is a bit of a joke. & the lack of pillows is a joke.

Noticed straight away upon arrival that our shower head handle had snapped meaning we would have to hold the shower head whilst washing, receptionist kindly changed our rooms although they were already aware of this issue so I presume they had hoped we just wouldn’t have said anything. Receptionist also kindly let us print off some tickets we needed which we had forgotten to pack.

Damp smell in the room, bathroom was infested with little moth looking flies, I stopped counting how many were in the bathroom after I counted 14. Feedback already left from previous customers on here regarding this so disappointing to see the hotel is not interested in resolving this. Once moved rooms, I had one warm shower in the afternoon, I tried to shower early in the morning before a flight and the shower was freezing, nobody at reception to speak with. There is no front shower door and the water hits the other side of the bathroom soaking you in the process, even when just turning the water on slightly. I was unable to shower properly before a long flight, but had soaking wet hair and wet pjs to pack in my suitcase. The main issue I had was being woken up at 3.15am due to the people in the room above us getting ready for their flight, the floor boards are horrendously loud, I have searched for an email address to complain about this to but unable to find this. This overall resulted in only a few hours sleep before my flight, if the hotel can’t fix the floorboards then at least put the early leavers on the bottom floor? Yes the price appears reasonable, but if a hotel doesn’t provide basic necessities that you would expect such as a shower and a undisturbed nights sleep, then just pay the extra for somewhere else!

Vile. We decided not to say and have not had a refund. Truly truly disgusting. It stank of cigarettes, the room was falling apart, bed and furniture was broken, hairs everywhere and the bathroom would give you tetanus.

Everything. Give me my money back!

Easy access from the motorway

everything, no tv well there was but not working, no food as they said the kitchen was not working.so no breakfast floors where a trip hazard wall was hanging of. basically they lied in there reviews.had to pay for parking when we were told it was free with our stay.

The room was warm, 4 soaps, 4 packets of shampoo and plenty of tea, coffee and milk. Easy to find. You can check in anytime as long as they are aware. Checkout you just drop off your key at reception.

Where to begin! If you just want somewhere to sleep it's fine. The photograph above belies the fact that there are two other former houses on the site that have been converted into accommodation and do not look anywhere near as inviting as the photographed new build. We booked for three but there were only two towels and two mugs. The second bed wasn't properly made, the duvet was just folded on top. Only one pillow per person in the room, they were soft and appeared old. The TV would switch on but no remote, daughter downloaded the app to try and get the TV to work but you had to be on the wifi which was extra. A fellow guest stated as soon as we arrived, 'good luck getting your TV to work'.. The light in the bathroom flickered but you needed it on to see, dangerous for anyone with photosensitive epilepsy. The bathroom was reasonably clean but not what I would class as a hotel standard. The flush button did not sit in the toilet cistern properly and did not flush well. After using the sink and the shower the most horrific smell of blocked drains came up the waste water pipe which filled the bedroom as well as the bathroom with its stench. Only one main light which was dim. The switch for the lights over one of the beds was hidden behind the headboard. If you had light on, you had to get back out of bed to move the bed to switch them off! Parking is paid extra on arrival, if there is space. Bed slats on one of the beds were not in correctly and fell out as soon as we tried to get into bed.

There were no facilities to eat and taxis to the airport was expensive for the distance

Availability of food for breakfast

The room had super weird looking bugs on the floor and even on the bed, the walls are thin and can hear a ton. The staff was literally trying to open a door and even drilled a hole through the door making tons of noise past midnight!

Upon the first night of arrival (we stayed either end of our holiday abroad) the shower was blocked and I had to wash my hair in the sink. The room was really hot too (I believe we were above the boiler room) although with a window open it was fine and can’t complain about the cost

Very convenient location close to airport. Easy to check in, looked promising to begin with.

Awful room, tired and Spartan. The mattress was atrocious and should have been condemned years ago. Very dirty tea tray and not even a bedside lamp so I could read and while away the hours whilst I couldn't sleep. Only stay here if you're desperate or skint.

This is Exceptionally convenient location for Stansted Airport. The property has a local bus stop across the road, few minutes to Stansted Airport Local pub is also 100m away offering food also. Easy going, sparkling clean.

Incredibly noisy for the entire evening and late into the night, sounded like they were having a party and the tv opposite blaring. Bed uncomfortable. Shower smelled.
