Location and The Manor House experience

Can’t think of anything that was in particular, Only thing that was not quite up to standard was the evening meal could have been served hotter.

Total acceptance and accommodation of our dog.

Appreciate the property is old, but the floorboard squeaking and lack of soundproofing above our room was a disappointment.

Breakfast was delicious; I had both the meat and the vegetarian option and they were both really really lovely. Freshly cooked and very tasty! The room was perfect, lovely and spacious and the bar was open late allowing us to have a drink when we wanted. Staff were also very friendly, especially our breakfast server who made a ‘packed breakfast’ for my partner who didn’t make it to breakfast.

The floorboards above our room were very squeaky and noisy, which led to two nights of not much sleep due to the noise. You could hear every footstep and even some conversations from the room above. This meant my partner didn’t make it to breakfast due to lack of sleep.

Cant fault one thing staff were wonderful in every way and so was the hotel, really nice stay can't wait to go back

From the staff to the place everything was exceptional. But the place is outstanding, and we hope we could be back soon!

Modern decoration in the bar and restaurant. Lovely grounds. All staff were really helpful and friendly.

Breakfast was great and the staff were reasonable but the night porter was fabulous friendly and talkative and willing to answer any questions regarding our stay . But the reception team were less commutative. Really good experience, location you are 50 miles away from the lakes though . Thank you

More friendly staff .

The quality of the breakfast was 2nd to none and they catered for my intolerance's without hesitation. The service provided by Chris and his team was brilliant.
