This was the first time my wife and I had used Brantfell and we were very impressed. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were immaculate and Mandy and Adie were friendly and welcoming hosts. Even car parking was not a particular problem for us. We would not hesitate to return to Brantfell whenever we return to the Lake District.

Lovely Bed and Breakfast in Ambleside, parking was kindly provided by the owners using there guest pass for staying guests. The building is easy to locate, clean and perfectly located for leaving the car and exploring Ambleside which has everything covered, places to eat, shop and explore. The owners were onsite to me us and are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was perfect and the room was just right. If we are looking to stay in Ambleside again in the near future we will definitely check here first. Thanks for a great stay.🙂

Friendly hosts, we had a free room upgrade, good size, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, cooked to order. Great location for easy access for walking and public transport.

Beautifully clean and comfortable, great location. Mandy & Adie our hosts were brilliant, friendly and full of local knowledge and advice. Breakfast was fabulous, nothing too much trouble. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Ambleside.

The Brantfell is a clean, comfortable & welcoming B&B. Breakfast choice is amazing. Adie & Amanda are lovely people & very knowledgeable about the area. Would definitely stay again & highly recommend it.

The staff/owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was small, but very clean and well appointed, including a large shower. Breakfast provided was excellent in a room that has a nice view.

Mandy & Adie are warm and welcoming from the outset. A Parking badge was arranged no probs, even though i arrived very early. Breakfast was delicious and everyone in the breakfast room seemed very much at ease and happy in their surrounds. Great advice given on walks to do, places to go, eat, drink etc. Brilliant location, great room and bed was super comfy.

I loved everything about this property, the decor was beautiful, it had that lovely home from home feeling as soon as you walked through the door

We stayed in room 3, it was spacious, clean and comfy. Adie and Mandy welcomed us to Brentfell House and instantly made us feel welcome. Adie gave us some great local information on the best routes and places to eat. Breakfast was great, varied selection, served quick and hot! Had the best nights sleep on a bed that felt like sleeping on a cloud! The location is perfect round the corner from bus stops that will take you to every corner of the lakes and some of the best places to eat just a short walk away. I cant reccomend Brentfell House enough. We plan to come back in Spring 2023 an Brentfell House will be my first choice!
