Car park was dreadfully difficult to negotiate

A car park to drive asround without fear.

The location is good, being a few minutes walk to the centre of the CBD, and on Roma park so the kids can play and run around. The lady on the desk was very helpful and polite. Excellent customer service. The bar staff was also very accommodating. The rooms are very basic, clean and comfortable, but could use an update. You can see that the bathroom has had an update, and is fresh and clean, but a couple of the finishes could be looked at.

The noise on a Sunday morning was a bit annoying. A constant loud humming. The same noise did not happen on the Monday morning. Also the tv channels did not work in our room. There was a lot of static on the screen on most of the channels. Only the kids channels and news channels were available. The air con also did not work.

No plates or cutlery available. We had a kitchenette. Some maintanance needed. Dodgy looking plaster repair jobs Glass door unable to close fully on balcony

access to city and inner city suburbs decently priced accomodation

no light switch for one of the lights

The room, location

Location. The journey to the motel, nice conversation with a local I had not met. Nice staff, very friendly. Room is inviting. TV was easy to use. Plenty of coffee and tea. Wonderful cafe coffee. Realise to use my QR reader when ordering takeaway nearby.

The check in took a little time or seem to. Do not worry this is a normal occurance on arrival lately. I am wondering whether my room had been entered whilst out. I did not remember leaving the sliding door open whilst out. This again is becoming a regular occurance whilst away.

Convenience as it’s close to all what u need transport,restaurants,coffee shops

The furnishings in the room was extremely old The lamp shades were very tatty Would have preferred a room at the front as opposed to the back one

Bin hadn't been emptied from previous occupant. Small bathrooms.

Both my friend and I had a solid night sleeps. Neither of us woke until daybreak. We were overwhelmed with the comfortable sleep as we both have been under alot of stress re health etc.

A quiet room, comfy bed, great shower, coffee and tea making facilities, fridge, restaurant onsite etc etc. Affordable and walk to train. Cairns was a long journey on train so close motel that I have previously stayed at was perfect.

Location and view. Parking was reasonably priced.

Needs a coat of paint and to decide whether it is an apartment suite with self catering kitchen, or just a hotel room. Fridge was leaking, and a few goes and oomph required to open and shut poorly maintained balcony doors. Nothing that a few $ and a bit of attention wouldn't fix ☺️
