Close to everything and the beach on the doorstep. Staff went above and beyond when our door lock was broken when we arrived. Changes rooms with no trouble at all. Lovely hotel and will come back again!
Little bit pricey but worth it
3.0
Great location, just across from the shore. Great access to bars, restaurants and shops.
Helpful and friendly staff.
Thought I'd booked a studio but on arrival was given a basement apartment which would be ideal for 2 families or a group of friends. It was relatively clean overall and once the renovations have been completed it will be a great base for a group of friends but there were some snagging issues, e.g. wet room door sticks to the extent that I had to get someone to open it from the other side and the other bathroom has no lock at all, just a hole in the door where it would go.

Nice staff, nice views of the sea, nice decor.
Quite expensive

amazing! very clean and the staff were amazing! so polite and helpful! our room was beautiful and the view was even better! the spa was amazing! and so was breakfast! we will definitely be back!
the only think we didn’t like was the gap between the floor and the room door.
5.0
very nice up todate situated in an easily accessible place. short walks to anywhere.
The food was great lobby was lovely and modern. Did notice the same staff running around from morning till late night. could do with more staff for breakfast. May have just been the time I came thought. They all worked very hard and with a smile.
3.0
the lounge looked very luxurious. beautiful setting on the front
more parking spaces in the car park.
3.5
The location and room
That because you book with you you are penalised in using the Spa facilities.....10£ pp for ABIT of jacuzzi and sauna.....not FAIR!!
And the receptionist at check in was not welcoming at all !
4.0
The room had an excellent view of the bay. The location was easy to get to the town centre and the free parking was the reason for booking here. The food in the restaurant was very reasonable and the breakfast was very good.
The choice of beer (ale) in the bar could be improved. The room was rather hot during the night.
No plug was provided for the basin.
3.5
nothing special to note though it did have parking on site which is rare and why i booked here
fire alarm and leaving hotel at 5 am into a wet cold sea front with an apparent night watchman thinking it amusing when reporting a false alarm after about 20 mins Room quite small by modern standards
5.0
the location was perfectly convenient and such a beautiful seafront spot
sea view preferably
4.5
Comfortable room, radiator nice and hot but fighting a battle against the cold wind.
The wind and noisy waves, none of which was under control of the hotel
4.0
spacious room for family
Early check out time
Breakfast was not complimentary with booking.com
3.5
location; parking; room with sea view
lacks distinctive character ; spaces scattered; slightly faded feel
4.0
seafront location, comfortable rooms, friendly staff
nothing
3.0
Sea view
The room was 'compact', old hotel room with a corner boxed off for small en-suite.

Always very friendly hosts and staff in all roles
Nothing to dislike.

Breakfast was excellent, but was surprised to have to pay extra for it. My fault, I suppose, for not checking beforehand. Views on to the sea were great. Room was comfortable if a little cramped for space.
The hotel car park behind the building was full and we were lucky to eventually find a free space on the prom, but some 100 yards from the hotel.
4.0
location great , clean and room good.
nothing I didn’t like but booking in receptionist not overly friendly and took us and another guest a while to get help and she seemed to be taking unnecessarily too long on phone dealing with something (talking ++)
it seemed quite expensive considering no breakfast and where we were .
4.0
Perfect location, Right on the sea front
2.5
The room had a spectacular view over the sea. The location is good.
The lock on my bedroom door failed and I was locked in my bedroom for 20 minutes which made me feel a bit panicky. The staff weren't particularly surprised, which was a little concerning. The bathroom sink tap kept coming off. The room had far too much furntiure and was really cramped which is such a shame because it had an amazing view. It didn't need all that glitter and silver and velour (very 80s).
2.5
Room was good - clean and comfy. Location is first class.
Breakfast really let it down. Nice table service available for tea and toast. Hash browns were soggy and the eggs had been sat for an age. Cheap beans really finished it off for me, I left and got brekkie somewhere with higher standards.
