Very comfortable and absolutely lovely staff

The location is perfect. The hotel is within walking distance of everything in centro. The event we traveled for was in Pistoia and all hotels were booked. This was the perfect alternative.

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean room, parking available right next to the hotel with a daily ticket (cca 3 euro), very good breakfast (the croissants are perfect!).

It was not as horrible as seems, but in comparison I expect from 4 stars hotel some issues were hardly acceptable: Rarely working aircon during the day with so many excuses why not working, some low level furnitures (esp warderobe) in the room, no parking for the hotel (once we chase an hour in the evening), sometimes some stink came from the bathroom, below acceptable quality breakfast: below average coffee, watered scrambled eggs, low quality mortadella, small plates, small (less than 1 dl) glasses…

room seemed desolate, just a bed, side furniture, white walls with no pictures or decorations - seemed like someone hastily moved into a college dormitory. AC could not keep up with the heat, and opening the windows was not an option the days we were there.

Super friendly staff - both written and in-person communications were excellent! Breakfast was nice, rooms & towels are extremely clean. The location is great - just 7 min walk to train station and few minutes to the park, Terme Tettuccio, Tamerici and funicular. It's around 15 minutes by car to Grotta du Giusti Spa, which I was suggested is the best spa option nearby.
Nothing to complain about. Just the street entrance stairs, a bit difficult with big trolley bags, but staff helped with luggage.

The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was basic, but we enjoyed it as it was on our taste: scrambled eggs, fried ham and sausages, cereals, yoghurt, gem, fruits and deserts, etc. Very good coffee. The ladies from the reception and the restaurant were very nice and helpful. Public parking available in the area for a low charge to the hotel.
There was no soap in the room but we solve it immediately at the reception.

I really needed to get away for a couple of days. Montecatini is only an hour away from Florence, away from the crowds and the heat. The hotel was so nice, quiet, clean, and the staff were amazing. I didn't want to leave when the weekend came to an end! The town is lovely as well and you can be in Lucca in 30 mins. But Montecatini in itself is worth the visit. Thanks Hotel Ariston for welcoming me!
