Very warm attitude of the owner of the hotel - they helped me out with all my needs. Especially helping me out with indications on trails i wanted to walk in the mountains. Had a beautiful time. The walk to town centre is beautiful.
Family owned and managed hotel - it makes the difference !

The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly! The breakfast buffet was very good with a wide variety of items.
As I unlocked the door to the room, the dog next door started barking and it sounded like it was in our room and barked excessively at all hours. I understand that this is a dog friendly hotel; however, rules need to be implemented so that guests aren’t disturbed. The smell of cigarette smoke was always present in the hallways and remained in our room from the room next door. Smoking needs to only be allowed outside in the park area, not on the balconies outside the room.
4.2
The property is well located, comfortable and clean with lovely common areas downstairs.
4.2
The location is fantastic and close enough to walk downtown, which was largely why we booked this hotel. The staff was helpful in recommending hikes and activities!
The room smelled strongly of cleaning supplies and our room faced the street, so had lots of road noise all night!

Dinner at the restaurant (okay but nothing special); Smeel coming from the room toilet

The hotel itself was pleasant, in a comfy style which is warm and welcoming. The majority of the staff were lovely, helpful with advice and around when needed. Daily breakfast was classically Italian, we had dinner one night in the hotel which was outstanding. They also have a wonderful wine list.
The room was essentially mis-sold to us. We deliberately booked a triple room with three standard beds -- as we're three adults. However, when we got there, one of the beds was a pull out / sofa bed. We immediately flagged this and were told "well it's a bed", and there was little to no desire to correct the situation. It was essentially brushed under the carpet as an 'us' problem. We had specifically selected Menardi for the triple room, and hotels / accommodations are able to make it EXPLICIT via Booking.com if a bed is a sofa bed or a normal bed. Hence why we were very disappointed to find a sofa bed, and for the hotel staff to not give a care to resolve it. Pretty poor if you ask me. Cortina is not a cheap resort, so hotels come at a premium -- so the money spent for a sofa bed and no desire to fix the situation left a slightly bitter taste in the mouth. For someone who's worked in the hotel industry, I'd have thought they'd try to do more to resolve the situation.

Nice staff,good location.

Great location and hospitality.
Rooms were very small and outdated. The double room specified one queen bed, however it was two twin beds pushed together- very uncomfortable. The spa did not allow swim suits which was very odd, as every other hotel/air bnb I have stayed at over the past two years in Italy and Europe allowed them. It was also in a different building a couple minute walk from our building. A lot of false advertising. The price of the rooms was absolutely atrocious. €900 for TWO nights on a week day- NOT worth it.

This hotel was lovely. The rooms are modern and clean and we had a great view of the mountains. The staff were extremely helpful in navigating Cortina, finding a great hike and getting skis and to the ski mountain. The food was excellent and servers in the dining room were very friendly and professional. The hotel is on the ski bus line and the city bus line. There are two small grocery stores nearby to pick up needed items. Ask the staff about the hike to the Rifugio Mietres. It is a short hike and the food and views are amazing!!! We also hiked from the Funivia Faloria down to Fraina and had one of the best meals ever at the Baita Fraina. You can walk there directly from the Cortina rail trail.
It is a bit of a walk to the city center (.6 of a mile). We didn't really mind the walk as it's beautiful and you can walk on a pedestrian walk all the way to town. It was quite a walk carrying our rental skis from the shop but we realized after that we could have had them delivered. We might stay closer to town if we went again but the price was so reasonable for the quality of the hotel.

Location
Quite old furnished bedroom with carpet on the floor, old bathroom where you need to take a shower in the bath.. hate that.
Booked early and paid more than the price on booking when we arrived. Room not in line with my expectations. 1000€ for 4 nights and Spa available with extra charge of 23€ / person. Ok.. it’s Cortina.. but still..

very good breakfast. They offer a lot in big quantities. Very nice staff
The hotel management wanted to put us outside of the hotel to a separate building. We had to complain and after that they magicly found a roon in the hotel.
I have booked a room with mountain view in the Hotel and have paid eur 622 for 2 nights.
Further i have recived from you an ifo that no additional cost will be charged.
They have charged me 14 eur for city tax and 30 eur for the dog.

Andrea was fantastically helpful. Every night he planned our hikes and copied detailed maps for us. He checked the weather every morning and planned the best hikes for us, despite the constant rain. We had a wonderful time; without him, we would have been miserable

Great place. The surrounding of the hotel is beautiful. Beautiful views- from every side. Rooms are cozy and comfortable, there is a lot of space, even a small wardrobe, beds are very comofortable. The place is very clean and "well cared". Staff is really kind, helpful, they are always smiling (wonderful young waitress- we love you!), they are nice people, who are doing their job very well. Tasty breakfasts (we drink the best cappuccino in hotel restaurant) . We always travel with a dog and it is important for us to feel comfortable- the dog had a lot of space- in the garden near hotel and there is path just behind the hotel, where you can go for a walk without any stress about traffic. Cortina is good point to start hiking. And mountains- just breathtaking, the most beautiful place in the world. We love this place, this mountains, this hotel, Italian people. We were thinking about coming back even before we left.
Best regards!
It is not allowed to visit the restaurant with a dog, it was just a little bit disappointing (we could take our dog everywhere- to every restaurant, every trail, every rifugio and malga, even shops, Italians just love dogs, but we couldn't eat breakfast together, so we were forced to eat separately, we just don't understand this because the hotel was generally dog-friendly). But we respect their rules, it wasn't very big problem for us. We don't like to leave our dog lonely in new places, we are afraid that he can do something unexpected.
Breakfasts- small amount of vegetables, more variety would be great. But everything that hotel offers was tasty and fresh.

Really lovely hotel and very kind staff 😊 Would recommend staying here.
Unfortunately, the spa was closed which we didn’t know before we arrived.

They gave us a free upgrade. Breakfast had great variety, including scrambled eggs and bacon. Food and service at dinner were wonderful.
Pillows were too firm.

Breakfast was amazing and self catered. Coffee was available on demand and the staff are so lovely and make you feel very welcome.
It has a great vibe.
Ashtray on balcony for smokers and having washing service known to us when we book but not much to change about it.

The staff was great and welcoming, breakfast was good and there were plenty of options.
The before was too soft, and we also were sad that the spa was closed because we were looking for it.
4.2
Large room, balcony, excellent welcome, rich and good breakfast, pleasant welcoming staff, excellent location, far from the crowd but still close enough to the center to walk
A bit expensive relative to the season and the value
4.2
The shower is not comfortable
