Room was a suitable size, clean and tidy. Breakfast was included within our price, there was a very good choice, including smoked haddock and kippers (my wife loved this).

Sharon and daryl made us very welcome the breakfast was very good plenty of choice our room was very nice we really enjoyed our stay would certainly stay again.

Crisp clean sheets and breakfast cooked to perfection. This guest house is run exception well , everything is done to perfection. All areas are immaculately clean and fresh and lots of little extras in the bedrooms. We had a room with balcony and beautiful view down to the harbour . We were able to park in a reserved parking area provided by our hosts. We were made to feel most welcome by Sharon and i know we shall return.

Stayed 4 nights at "The Collingdale " our first trip ever to Ilfracombe, A glorious Victorian guest house overlooking the sea . Typical Victorian house standing tall with her sturdy walls, beautiful stairs and high ceilings,all immaculately decorated. Upon arrival we were met by host Sharon who greeted us with a warm welcome after our long journey from Essex and were immediately made to feel welcome which is always a plus . Sharon was very informative of restaurants to use and places to go which in my view is always a good sign too of a good host . Our room ( room 5) overlooked the sea , had a built in on suite , and a king sized bed to which I and my partner both had lots of room and was very comfy . Breakfast was held in two set times 8am & 9am which is a good idea and the actual breakfast was always cooked to perfection and to order by Daryl who obviously takes pride in what he dishes up as the food was hot,tasty, and cooked to perfection . All in all we enjoyed our visit to Ilfracombe and have some lovely memories to take home with us and can only thank Sharon and Daryl for helping make this a wonderful memorable stay .Bravo.

The Collingdale Guest House is in a wonderful location, just above the harbour. Perfect for us as we enjoy walking but it wasn’t too far to main amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and overall breakfast dining experience in their light, airy and comfortable dining area.

Our shower was quite loud which wasn’t a problem for us but we did fear that we were disturbing neighbouring rooms when using it in the mornings.

It was in an excellent location, run by two fantastic people who couldn’t do any more to make our stay enjoyable.

The surrounding area needs a bit of tidying up, but I think this was down to local council inactivity due to COVID.
