The shower and other facilities were great. The breakfast service and double choice great. There was also an honesty bar which is nice. The view was also nice.
There was a slight odour and sticky quality as we entered. We had the impression there was a private sun lounge terrace but in reality is was a table opposite 3 other guests in their tables.
So the morning isn't as tranquil as hoped for. People have loud voices, smoke and barking dogs which can set you on edge. Also everyone can look straight into you bed and kitchen so you tend to live in darkness with the curtains drawn more than us preferable.

Everything was first class. Very clean. Beautiful house and garden. Welcoming friendly staff. Superb breakfast. Great location.

Breakfast was great, loads of choice. Served in your room if required. Rooms were clean. Toiletries were excellent. The little hamper of goodies was much appreciated. Honesty bar was well stocked and the gardens were beautiful.
Bed was a little small for my husband (6ft 3)

Such a fantastic place. It's pretty much set up to be all self service - so it feels very slick and easy to use. If you want to interact with the owners you can - but there's no obligation to which is lovely.
The breakfast arrangements are really effective - fantastic quality food and a really extensive menu. The homemade granola pots are frankly spectacular - one of the best things I've ever eaten for breakfast. The biggest challenge is not eating too much - we actually had to skip lunch one day because we'd had such a fabulous breakfast!
The room was very comfortable and well appointed. Great facilities and easy to get extra bits and pieces if you need them. If you're after somewhere that you can genuinely relax and disconnect from the hecticness of daily life this is a perfect location for it.
It's an easy walk down into Ilfracombe - it's on a bit of a hill but nothing too steep.
If we decide to come back to Ilfracombe we will definitely stay at Epchris House again.
I genuinely can't think of anything to write here. It was as close to perfect as you can get.

A well appointed B&B just a short 20 min walk into the town centre. Cath and her team have a well organised operation which provides her guests a first class service with lots of useful extras. I particularly liked that each room has a small fridge with fresh milk. The In room breakfast service was also excellent.

Lovely house and gardens in a quiet area of Ilfracombe. Breakfast in the room was really good. Mattress was comfortable. Room a really good size. Felt very relaxed whilst there.
Only negative would be that I personally didn't like the pillows.

We went to the small bar on our first night and was told to leave at 10.30 due to the lower ground room which was next door to the bar. The gentleman that told us to go wasn't very friendly we felt like naughty school kids!!!!

Great location(easy to walk into the centre of Ilfracombe), lovely friendly people, comfortable room with everything you need, lovely terrace to sit out on and enjoy a drink or breakfast,nice and quiet and breakfasts were wonderful .

Breakfast was excellent. ordered night before but unfortunately because of the weather , we were unable to eat on the terrace so had our food in our room. Tea and coffee were provided in the room along with bottled water and treats.
We did book our accommodation late, but the room we had was quite small and restricted around the bed due to the roof beams and the shower tray was blocking up which was briefly cleared.
But overall it was a pleasant stay and the owner Cath has got a lovely B@B.

The Breakfast was exceptional, a hamper was delivered to our room with everything we could wish for. This was followed by a cooked breakfast of our choice (nice and hot)., at a time of our choice. There was an eating area in the room, breakfast was plentiful and delicious.
We loved everything about Epchris House.
