Good location for Windsor Castle

No evening meal, we did know about this before booking I believe they are sorting it out

Nice size hotel with a comfy bar and a complimentary drink. Breakfast was very nice with a good selection and set you up for the day ahead. My family had an upgraded twin room which was excellent whilst our small bedroom was as stated. The location was quite but only in ten minutes walking distance into Windsor. All staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Could have done with a proper dressing table in the small bedroom number 4.

Quaint little hotel with lovely staff. Very nice dinner and bar. Recently done up in a very tasteful way. Excellent position in easy walking distance to town and the castle

The room was very small but I knew that when I booked.

Location was great. Food was fantastic. Very clean and staff very friendly/helpful. We also liked the room air conditioning unit which could be turned on/off as required. The bed was very comfortable

The bathroom/en-suite was very small.

Comfy & clean room and Breakfast was good and the Staff were good too !!!

Didn’t have a view to look out on, all we had was a flat roof and fire escapes !!! And the Aircon could of been better !!

Room slightly on the small side

Staff were super smiley helpful and friendly. The bar area was pleasant to sit in with decent background music which didn’t drown out conversation. Breakfast had a good selection of cereal and cooked choices, it was really good.

Our room was dark with a very small window and not so good lighting.

Tiny bathroom - no space to sit properly on the toilet.

The receptionist was lovely and so helpful and let us charge our car for free. It was a lovely quiet stay.

No meats and cheese on the breakfast menu and the wait was almost 20 mins.

Room was super comfy and very clean. Really liked it. Plus the English breakfast was so good! Location is pretty good with only a short walk to get in and amongst the main Windsor area.

Staff were lovely and friendly. Very welcoming. The location was great, only 10 min walk from Windsor centre. The lounge bar was nicely decorated and a free drink was a nice touch. The dining room was superbly decorated.

The room was tired and things didn’t work. We told them about this but not corrected whilst we were there. The safe didn’t work, heater didn’t work. The extraction in bathroom didn’t work. Mould growth in shower cubical was unacceptable. The room should have been better for the money we paid.

Parking full so had to park 300m away in a public car park.

From the moment we entered, the staff treated us like friends - always helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was cosy and comfortable and had many areas for just sitting and relaxing in big, comfy chairs. The rooms were plush with quality linens and the food was true restaurant quality.

Great that they allow pets as we had our dog with us and there weren't a lot of pet friendly options in Windsor. Great location, walking distance to everything. Staff were very friendly, helpful and responsive in the lead up to our stay. Breakfast was great!

Car park has around 12 spaces but in reality is only big enough for 8

The Hotel was first class. Everyone was very friendly. Staff was unbelievable kind and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent the nicest breakfast we have had in a long time. Everything we needed was in our rooms.

The only downside was. We decided to eat in the Hotels restaurant. I chose Coq a van with mash potatoes. I asked the waitress. Could I have fries instead of mash which I do not like. She said it was ok to change. When my meal arrived the mash had been removed and chips where provided. It was not till we returned home. I looked at the receipt and noticed. I had been charged 3.99 for the fries. I thought this was unfair as it was not an extra but a replacement for the mash.
