This is a great cottage right in the heart of Windsor, set adjacent to a lovely park that is family-friendly. Ideal location, and very near the Castle (four minute walk from the Castle).

There is nothing to fault about this cottage. On the ground floor is a kitchen and living room. On the first floor are two bedrooms, and at the top - on the second floor - is a really private bedroom with en suite bath / shower. There are 2.5 bathrooms - one on each floor. The kitchen is really nice and has everything you would need to make a good start at cooking. There is a dishwasher and clothes washer and dryer. It's all great!

The Duchess,is a lovely cottage surprisingly spacious with the bedrooms over 2 floors, my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay,perfectly located literally a 2 minute walk to the shops This property is also excellent for a family with young children, the park is seconds away witch my grandchildren loved,will definitely be staying again.

The bed could have been better. It creaked eveytime you moved and the mattress could have been better. Apart from that it was lovely. Would recommend.

Quirky, had character but up to date and clean and comfortable. In a fabulous location within 5 minutes walk to Windsor town and 10 mins to the castle. Absolutely brilliant communication before, during and after. Great host.

it is quite small, especially for 8 people but it was clearly advertised as so, so we expected it. There were only 5 in our group and we just about fitted. Saying that, this is only regards down stairs, upstairs was very spacious. And it did not affect our enjoyment at all.

LOVED this historical Cottage! It was close to town and we were able to walk everywhere. Windsor is a great city to visit! The Cottage is very quiet at night so we all got a great nights sleep. It is a beautiful property with everything you need for your stay.

We faced parking difficulties.

The property is very convenient for Windsor centre, the castle, the long walk and both train stations.

The property is in need of a refresh. Dirty carpets, furniture and walls/broken door handles etc. Would suggest a maximum of 4 guests given the size of the kitchen and sitting room.

The location was perfect and so convenient to walk everywhere that Windsor has to offer.

There is no parking available at the property, which we were aware of, but it did add an extra £24 per day to the cost of the holiday to park the car securely. The seating in the lounge room was not adequate for a family with only a two seater sofa and with small bean bags provided, but these are not suitable for adults so we didn’t spend much time together in this room. The mattress on the bed with the iron frame was thin and not comfortable but the other two double beds were fine. The shower kept overflowing from the shower tray onto the bathroom floor, despite taking out the plug, so suspect the drain is blocked. Also you’ll need to be reasonably thin to squeeze into the shower given the poor design of the shower screen.

A lovely stay in a beautiful period property. Location just a few minutes walk from Windsor Castle. Immaculately presented, clean and tidy. Our host was in touch to make sure our stay went smoothly, which was really helpful. Great facilities, even has wifi, a washing machine and dishwasher.

Although there is no parking spot directly outside the property, there are nearby car parks in town, and it is possible to pull up outside the property to load and unload the luggage. So for us, this wasn't an issue.

Excellent location for activities in and around Windsor. Great rail connection to London and Heathrow

The house was very handy for the locations we were working in during our stay, the accommodation was very clean and comfortable with 3 very spacious double bedrooms.

The communal lounge area was lacking in sofa space with just one 2 seater sofa available, we did find bean bags in a cupboard but these are not always suitable for everyone to use (getting out of them can be difficult) given potentially there could be 6 people staying in this property the lounge area could be more accommodating, we did not use this room at all during our stay.

Windsor is fabulous, old and quirky and full of history
