Plenty of rooms are available, on site gym is provided for free, staff seem friendly, price is fair considering the location in Ipswich center

The parking is provided by an external provider and is very expensive, park across the bridge in the council car park for a cheaper and more available parking experience. The quality of the experience has gone down since B&B took over the hotel from Penta. A hot breakfast buffet was not available at the time, which leaves £15 very expensive for a continental breakfast.

the location is perfect for the football ground and the bed is very comfy. The kitchen was closed for evening meals but they allowed us to order takeaway and to eat it in the bar area.

I think we had an old smoking room as there was a stale smell in the room. We have stayed so many times at this hotel have never stayed on the ground floor. this time we were but will request an upper floor room next time.

The room was never made up as we stayed 2 nights Felt dirty on the 2nd day

The air con (air flow system) didn’t work was informed it is an air flow system which brings in air from outside however it produced warm air which in July made the room incredibly hot the system definitely seems faulty

2nd time we’ve stayed here really nice hotel in a great location perfect with the football stadium only being a 5 minute walk away.

Very little was wrong only downside was our hairdryer didn’t work that was all we could fault

It was a bit battered and Spartan - more than travel lodge or premier inn
