Location was easy - just off the main trunk roads. Parking was good

It’s a very tired hotel badly in need of redecoration. My bathroom was tiny - had to squeeze up to the toilet to shut the door. Power shower was pretty feable. Room backed into a building site which I didn’t realise until they started work at about 7am. Went for dinner at 8:45pm ish - no staff around. I had to go to reception to find someone to serve me. Pool was closed, which I only found out on arrival. I paid extra for a bit of luxury but would have done better in a Premier inn.

The staff are very friendly & accommodating. Room are very nice and always clean.

The showers in the spa area were not working. The last time I visited February 2023, the steam room was out of action.

The room was clean and quiet ideal for our journey after a long day of travelling and event before proceeding on to our next destination and the son's and grandson enjoyed the swimming pool before leaving

Finding the rooms was a little bit of a trial no floor plan of where everything was and although both rooms on the upper level quite far apart

Went as expected. I liked the tv in the breakfast room and that I could move in the shower without banging my elbows on the sides

Relatively rundown, The room was hot as the air con wasn’t working. Only one fan did nothing. We booked a twin room with a bath. We got a double room with a shower. There was somebody pubic hair on the toilet roll. The bed was extremely uncomfortable as was the sofa bed.  The swimming pool was a small section and one side for Lane swimming one side for play. Most people hovered in the play section. Shallow pool no jumping allowed.  The breakfast however, was superb!! Add go there just for that! I would never return for accommodation. The staff were accommodating bar lacked enthusiasm. We ended up cutting our holiday short and the hotel are being difficult about my refund. I have insurance for my holiday so I am rest assured it will be dealt with. I highly recommend you add on the insurance to holidays!

The breakfasts were very good. The swimming pool was very good and clean.

The location was a little bit outside the town and our windows needed the glass replacing as there was a lot of condensation between the double glazing. The jacuzzi was tiny. There was not always someone available at the pool entrance.

Friendly staff, helped us to accomodate the two bycicles we were travelling on. The swimming pool and Jacuzzi were good. The food could be improved.

The Staff are Friendly and helpful, The food is very nice although a little expensive. We paid for Half Board not alot to choose from.on special menu.

Paid for a King Premium Room and turned out overall smaller than the standard double we had stayed in the week before. The bathroom was very cramped. Bed extremely soft and uncomfortable, certainly not a large double or king bed. The mattress protector didn't even fit the bed. Walls dirty with stains and hand prints on. Outside of Kettle dirty. Extractor fan in Bathroom was filthy. I'm not at all happy with the room or the amount of money paid for it. A complete letdown considering last weeks room. Was a lot cheaper and much cleaner, bigger and more comfortable.

There was a problem with our sink in the bathroom, also the water wasn’t very hot at all. there was a greasy stain in the seat of the bedroom armchair.

Really good value for money, deals for children were excellent..Nice spacious room..I entered a bid for a premium room and pleased I did..lovely pool and great location

Check in although member of staff was lovely found it to be slow at peak check in time especially if you check in online not sure what the point of that is when you then have to check in anyway. Changing rooms of swimming pool were abit dated and need of upgrade but can't beat the value and would return.

The staff were very helpful and considering they were extremely busy, helped us move rooms when it wasn’t adequate.

Directed to wrong room when we arrived. disabled lift not working. room not cleaned one day - complained and told housekeeping staff had all left. the accessible room bathroom was so small it was very difficult to shut the door without squashing up against the toilet.

Staff were accommodating. Nice welcome.

It had taken 1hr and 1/2 for food to be served, food ordered not as requested, wrong dish, starter burnt barefoot on toast, curry was runny and tasted like mushroom soup. Breakfast not appealing, we did not eat as sausages looked burnt and bacon looked dry, tinned mushrooms very small. Room had a unpleasant smell.

We had been given an upstairs room and I would not be able to use the stairs daily for the time we were there, the staff spent a lot of time finding a suitable room for us, difficult as the place was fully booked and lots of people had arrived, The room was perfect. Breakfast was lovely. Pool was lovely. All of the staff we came across in 4 nights there were exceptional, friendly, appeared genuinely relaxed and cheerful , nothing was too much trouble, the manager , house staff , catering staff , and people in the pool . Everybody appeared to be totally happy and relaxed. It was a most pleasant place to spend 4 nights in.

We are not be able to find something we were not happy with and this has never happened to either of us before

Just about everyth we required for a short stay. We were attending an anual event at which we attended with our caravan. This year that was not an option. Tha hotel was a perfect alternative being near to the venu and offering services we would not have been able to access othwerwise. We will be back next year.

The room we used was OK given my wife's unfortunate condition but it was a little gloomy and short of natural light but OK for our short stay
