Liz and Paul were lovely host. They were friendly and offered lots of information about what Torquay had to offer so we could get the best out of our stay. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel was within close proximity to the beach and town centre.

What’s not to like?

A very satisfactory experience - Liz & Paul are business like but approachable - the hotel feels relaxed & comfortable - an ideal location with an easy walk into the heart of the town, the marina/harbour, pubs & restaurants - public transport is easy giving access to the whole of Torbay.

Car parking is free but limited to specific areas on the public highway. Otherwise, there was nothing at all to dislike.

Liz was friendly and welcoming, we really appreciated her going the extra mile with anniversary decorations, balloons and chocolates. The hotel is beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and the location is excellent. Our room was comfortable and the wifi worked well.

Having to order breakfast by 6pm and being allocated first or second sitting. The on site parking is actually only 2 spaces.

Location was perfect everything in walking distance.Breakfast great plenty to eat always hot and fresh.Liz and Paul perfect host.Can’t do enough for you.The rooms are bright and airy equipped with a fan.

Loved everything about our stay

Everything was amazing as always we have been to this hotel many times and will not stay anywhere else in torquay, the room are Immaculate, the breakfasts was beautiful as always , Liz and Paul were amazing hosts as always and will be 100% returning again

Not enough parking spaces although there are some parking spaces in the nearby vicinity. It is not the hotel's fault. It would not be suitable for older people.

Everything has been sparkling clean. The mattress has been great. And breakfast was very delicious. the host was great to help us when we arrived late. We didn't test more amenities since we enjoyed the surrounding of Torquay all day.

Not a real critics, but if you are above 1.80m (6ft) tall check the bed length with the host. The bathroom was small but very functional (as expected for a guest room in the city centre)

nothing at all! if we were being picky the parking was a bit of a nightmare, but after driving down some of the side roads we were able to get parked up

Breakfast was a great start to the day. The food was cooked to order and the hotel used local sausages. Room was spotless we was very please with our room. Paul & Liz was always helpful if you have any questions. We would stay here again if visiting Torquay again in the future

Lovely friendly welcome from Liz. Our room was large, immaculate and had all we needed in it. Breakfast was lovely with lots of options.

Its like staying with friends, you're made to feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The hotel is spotless, the breakfasts superb, the rooms are serviced daily, just a fantastic break. Guests are even advised on the best restaurants to visit etc. Great location close to the bay and shops and a taxi back when laiden with holiday treats is just over £4.00 Definitely returning to this hotel and would highly recommend a stay to anyone.

Liz was really friendly and welcoming. Guided us for things to see. Really nice room. Will recommend totally. Near the sea front as well.

All of our three rooms were excellent , the beds were comfortable , the rooms clean and bright , great breakfast, full English a large selection of cereals. Fresh fruits , a selection of yogurts and fruit juice. And If there was anything that you wanted, you would only have to ask Liz or Paul they were happy to oblige . They gave us some recommendations where to go and eat which were excellent . Liz and Paul were very friendly and helpful a great couple, we will definitely be going next year for another holiday and we would recommend the hotel to family and friends to stay there.
