Bed was comfortable and we paid for a package on arrival, which was in place and just lovely.

Rooms were so dark I couldn’t see what I was doing with my make up and the windows don’t open (experienced this before in some city centre hotels, but awful not being able to breathe fresh air). Breakfast not great if you’re vegan or have intolerances/allergies, I had mushrooms, tomatoes and beans. I was able to order some gluten free toast but the hotel was out of butter ?? Who wants dry toast, let alone when the bread is gluten free, it was like eating sawdust.

Convenient location and good sized room. Really good air con.

Shower ran extra hot then extra cold repeatedly every 5 seconds. Breakfast choice was limited and a bit cramped.

Vi hade ett King Executive Room. Bra storlek på rum och bekväm säng.

Rummet var slitet & smutsigt med fläckiga gardiner, mattor och möbler. Badrummet hade trasig badkarspropp, duschslangen var 30 cm, inget stänkskydd/lister på duschväggen vilket gjorde att badrumsgolvet blev väldigt blött. Frukosten var inte värd sina pengar, ät ute.

Location is perfect! The reception desk is very nice special shout out to Rebecca and Elly-May and the tall man I forgot to ask the name of (sorry) we look forward to come back for a visit!

Breakfast was fine.

Our bedroom didn’t look like the photos I had seen online. Bathroom was also nothing like the photos online. The radiator in our room was permanently on hot even though we had turned the radiator to zero. We had to sleep with the windows open and the noise outside was horrendous. Car horns beeping, cars revving, sirens all night long. Staff were unhelpful and not pleasant. Overall stay was not good. What didn’t help matters was it was Chinese New Year and the car park were we parked was closed until 3pm on Sunday

Staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was good.

Shower was awful, just cycled between freezing cold and scaulding hot. Upon abandoning the shower, hurt my foot on large loose chunks of tile grouting from the bathroom floor. Bathroom overall very poorly maintained. Not worth the premium pricetag!

The stairs up to reception

Great location - walking distance to City Centre, coffee shops, pubs, etc. Had the suite and it was very spacious. Bathrooms were big and clean. Lot of natural light (when it didn't rain :D).

Bed / mattress was absolute terrible - bad backache - had 2 small beds put together but there was a big dent in between - so plugs were not UK spec and the hotel didn't have any adapters for it. Standard universal travel adapters won't fit in. Breakfast is not value for money.

Location

Arrived at the hotel around 18:30, checked in and then went downtown. Came back to the hotel around 21:30 and went up to the room. Had to pee and when I flushed down, the toilet didn't work. Went down to reception and complained but was told that no staff member was on duty to fix the toilet and that there was no other room available, I would just have to accept this and use the toilet that was located near reception and that the toilet would be fixed that day after. The next morning I went to breakfast which was nothing special, an employee asked if I wanted coffee or tea and I asked for coffee which the employee then forgot to bring. After breakfast around 09:30 still nothing was done about the toilet and I complained about it again and then an employee was finally sent to fix it. When I checked out I was promised that I would get half of what I paid for the room refunded and it would take 3-4 business days to appear on the credit card. On December 8th, I had not been reimbursed, so I sent an email but it has not been answered. The room was cold, poorly cleaned, the curtains had stains everywhere

Did not stay left the same day due to rowdy and inconsiderate guests. Made complaints to reception staff who were not interested in our complaints. Found one person in particular on reception very uninterested and rude.

Staff very pleasant and friendly. Hotel was central for what we wanted. Good location. Breakfast was okay except table was cleared before we had finished.

Room was painted in dark teal green including walls, doors and skirting boards. Window was too high up so I couldn't see out of it. Lighting was poor. Very depressing room. Bathroom was okay though.

The room tea/coffee/toiletries weren't refreshed on the second day of stay; the restaurant was closed in the evenings; despite asking four times the missing iron wasn't brought up to the room.

The bed was comfy and the breakfast was really good. The customer service I received from one of the team members at breakfast was good. It was close to the bus stop I needed to get home. Had a TV, kettle etc in the room.

The price was too expensive, the room needed a little TLC where the decor is concerned.. some patchy work on the walls and skirting boards where paint has chipped away. The customer service at reception needs improvement, staff sat down (not on a chair) behind reception looked unprofessional, there wasn't many smiley staff greeting you to improve the service of the hotel. Lastly , I was put in a room directly across from the main road where all the pubs are on the main road, so even though the bed was comfortable the noise negatively impacted my sleep.
