Fine for a nights stay.

Bathroom was tiny so felt squashed. Worst thing was some equipment outside thumping all night long. Couldn't tell where the noise came from.

This hotel was amazing! Perfect location within walking distance to downtown Cardiff and the castle. Lovely park across the river. The room was clean and comfortable. Although we were here on a busy Saturday night, we couldn't hear anything from downstairs or outside.

There was nothing we didn't like!

No heating on, you had to call them several times the reception for them to start the heating for your room....February still needs heating, even if the prices are rising, and we've paid enough to have heating on all the time, not just when calling to the reception

Room was spacious and super clean, also completely redecorate in good taste. Parking was not always available. Restaurant downstairs seemed good but after a female staff on our second morning told us no soya milk, no plant milk at all, we were suspicious of their vegan menu, so we never tried to eat there. The cocktails were good and the bar staff at night were friendly.

Staff member at reception and restaurant, lady kept insisting with us that they didn't have soya milk, she was unfriendly and seemed not want to check when we told her we had soya milk the day before, she told my partner we were lying, so other guests at the hotel got up from the table and brought us the soya milk: saying here it is love, of course they have it! passing us the soya milk that was on the breakfast table.

Room was great size and tidy. The staff were relaxed, friendly and helpful. Location is right in the center of Cardiff so easy to walk or get a taxi anywhere. The service and food in the bar/reaturant was great. The price was great for location, service and quality. Would definitely stay again.

A few minor marks on the room walls could do with a touch up of paint and the pillows for me where a little hard. Other than that was a lovely stay for me and my children. Would definatly recommend and stay again.

Recently refurbished, clean, good facilities. Nice new bathroom facilities, we do we're visiting family so didn't use the restaurant or bar, but it all looked nice. We were in room 15 the bathroom fan was LOUD but no noise from the pub. Bed was comfy, all in all rather nice.

Hotel was in an excellent location for Sophia Gardens.

We arrived at the hotel 2 hours before the checking in time stated on the paperwork received when booking as we were going to the Hundred (Cricket) at Sophia Gardens. There was no flexibility from staff to allow us to book in, despite stating no access to the room was required.

It is very close to Sophia gardens, lovely parks nearby and around 20 minutes walk in to the centre of Cardiff

The door handle on the bathroom was broken. The paint on the walls had peeled off. It was very warm and when asked for another fan they never brought one. The noise from the pub downstairs was incredibly loud, bear in mind I am a 31 year old, I like a good time like most people, but this was exceptionally loud. The room wasn't as clean as I would like it to be, I woke up in the morning to find a silver fish in the bed sheets. The staff are not professional, but they are lovely, just don't expect them to do anything if you ask for some help. The bathrooms are very small. Very old and dated. We paid £198 for two nights, and this is not worth that amount of money.

10 minute walk from city centre, opposite a lovely riverside park. The restaurant downstairs was handy for food or drinks in the evening. Breakfast was good too. Clean and comfortable room. The bathroom was lush.

Only thing was limited parking but there was always free on street parking too so not the end of the world.
