Locatie, zwembad

Excellent location next to Kimana gate to Amboseli. Really good and knowledgeable safari guide.
Room is spacious, beds are comfortable, great view to Kilimanjaro. Food is tasty and big variety to choose from. Lots of helpful and nice people working in the lodge.
Everything would need a bit of refreshing and mending - door knobs (missing in public area toilet), pavement stones around the pool are loose and might be dangerous etc (all small stuff and could be taken care of easily).
But all in all its a beautiful place in the middle of amazing nature.

Kilima was just an awesome place. Easy to access, clean facilities. The food was out of this world. The staff are very friendly and accessible plus very helpful. The presence of all the chefs during meal times gave us the assurance that we were eating fresh food.
All was good

The location is very convenient.
The hotel has terrible cleaning standards. I have discovered bed bugs in the room because I got over 20 bites in my back in the first night. After sharing this with staff, they denied but offered another room which I asked to be cleaned before we could change. Peter the manager was rude and unprofessional. We even considered leaving the hotel on the first night but had no other options. We had family visiting all the way from Brazil and this really impacted negatively our experience

The light of bathroom was keeping shining for hours but fixed later

They upgraded our room which was a pleasant surprise. Staff were very friendly. They organised packed breakfast for us every morning for our game drive.

The Kilima camp is very close to the main entrance of Amboseli, and is inside a compound that also features a small conference center. The dining hall is large and rather beautiful, with a comfortable bar located on the opposite site. There is a tower inside the dining area which, via several intermediate floors, leads up to a roof deck which offers a spectacular view over Amboseli and surrounding landscape. We really liked our spacious, almost luxurious tent, which featured a wooden sliding door and a large ensuite bathroom. In fact, it felt more like a house than a tent. The food was excellent throughout.
The drinks, which are charged for separately and have to be paid for in cash, are ever so slightly overpriced. Everything else was just perfect.

The map on booking.com says the hotel is inside Amboseli NP, but it's outside.

Staff was super friendly and helpfull.
The Hotel is outside of the Park and for 24 hours you only get two entries. You have to plan your Safaris. When making a early Gamedrive and then have breakfast, you can go in one more time. Thankfully the Hotel gave us a Lunchbox so we could spend the rest of the day in the Park

We loved the proximity to the National Park. The food was excellent, great variety and always hot.

Excellent location right at the entrance to the National Park.
Not at all wheelchair accessible, as advertised. And we called ahead to the camp to be sure. No ramps, very small bathroom. Staff carried me up steps physically. Hard work for them, humiliating for me.

Friendly and helpful staff. great food. wonderful view of Mount Kilimanjaro.

The buffet selection was extensive. The rooms were really big. It was peaceful, nice for relaxation and observed some wildlife. Also, close to the Amboseli National Park. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
There was network disruptions and the wifi could only be accessed from the lounge/restaurant; it did not reach the rooms.

well located close to Amboseli East gate. visitors to keep us entertained at breakfast included gazelles bouncing past, warthogs and zebra coming over for a feed, and monkeys playing. Fantastic elevated platform to watch the sun rise illuminate Kilimanjaro, and see the animals coming over to the waterhole
I would have appreciated ceiling fans in the bedroom.

Great fire pit for late night chats
Pleasant bar/restaurant area
Tents are well spaced with nice interlinking paths
Matthew was a great staff member
Right next to the park!
- Need more than 10 pool loungers and towels when having 60 rooms
- Put adaptors in the rooms so one plug point can charge both light and phones
- Average food

Location, very close to the park
Facilities need some care, lots of non cost maintenance can clearly be done.
Nonetheless, i was diagnosed with salmonela still during my 2 day stay there. All meals are buffet, which is very sensitive for food poison. We still had the attention to send back some chicken legs that were raw from inside.

The friendly and very professional staff, from the reception area we was welcomed by John and Mary whom were very welcoming and helpful with our check in and granting my request of our late check out due to us getting to Amboseli very late. Not forgetting the helpful staff in the restaurant Peter who was always available to chat and give us a brief history of the place and not forgetting the staff at the bar all helpful with great service. Unfortunately i cant recall each and each staff who helped us, each staff we came across were friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing, the room we booked was very spacious, clean, quiet and private. The view from Mount Kilimanjaro was breathe taking such an incredible sight to wake up to, location was very prominent just within the Amboseli national park. Unfortunately gutted i was unable to go for a game drive which was available but due to personal reasons on my next visit i will definitely go for one. Looking forward to my next visit and adventure.

on arrival we were treated with a hot towel and a glass of juice, a lovely touch after a long journey. The staff were great! So friendly and very very helpful, and the food was fantastic! The room was lovely and spacious. we really appreciate all the staff did to make us feel welcome.
We were not told to pay by card at the national park entry or to take out passports. There is an extra charge of 15usd at the gate for the car and the guide, which we didn’t know until we got to the gate. It would be good to have an information sheet with all the costs and what you need to take with you at the hotel so that you don't feel caught off guard. Transfer cost to Emali and from Emali was very expensive, considering a tank of fuel is equivalent to USD6

Food and Ambiance were fabulous. Accommodations were spacious. Wish I could have stayed longer. Loved the escorts to your tent.
Need new door locks, so old and troublesome.

This place is magnificent. The staff will make you feel like home in every single minute of your stay. You can ask for everything and they'll give you. Food is great, perfect cleaning of the rooms. Bar fully furnished, beautiful pool and a lot of personal around the area. Will absolutely love it.
Would like to see a gym here. Only suggestion.

I have stayed at a couple of places in Amboseli and honestly feel that Kilima Safari Camp offers the best value for money. The tents are very clean, roomy and well positioned to have a great view of Kili. The food was excellent and the hospitality and service offered by the staff is note worthy. The location is very near to the Kimana park gate (literally 200 mtrs) so no time lost driving from the camp to the gate. I highly recommend this place for visitors.
I can’t think of anything that bothered or annoyed me. The stay was great.
