Advertised as having a restaurant but that closed a while ago; maintenance issues inside the unit had to raised ( doors unable to be opened from one side; change of sheets half way through only happened to 2/3 beds; having to pay for extras (eg beach towels, 2 keys, loan of umbrellas).

Toilet didn’t always fill so we couldn’t flush it. Couldn’t contact anyone as they didn’t answer the phone and reception has Sundays off. Customer service not great.

Good location, short walk to the beach. Good varied pools. Good size room, quiet area and comfy bed.

Room’s interior was a bit older signs of wear and tear in some places. And my room was one of two behind a first door which the other flat kept opening, despite me trying to close it as it allowed for a lot of noise from an AC unit outside.

The pools were fantastic, 3 completely different styles, something for the whole family. The apartment was super spacious, we never felt like we were on top of each other, and it had everything you may need for a short or long stay. The staff were great, and we even got a massage which is highly recommended, Tori was fantastic, and I was even able to claim back on my healthcare fund so definitely recommend. Closely locates to everything.

There wasn't a lot of lighting in the apartment (only wall lighting) and because the main living space windows were shutters it got very dark very quickly. There wasn't a great deal of parking so with 2 kids in tow it was a mission to find a spot then carry everything around the hotel. The restaurant wasn't open which was a shame as it rained and being able to stay inhouse would have been preferred

The cleanness of pool and the rooms.

The bed sheets were not clean. We found a bandage inside the bed and also, they sheets were not clean at all. Apart from that the rooms were clean.

Beautiful place. Well equipped for a family. Friendly service. We were lucky enough to get the coffee cart trial day. Awesome pools.

The aircon in the living area wasn’t cooling so the living space wasn’t as comfortable in the heat.

The property and the facilities it provided were exceptional. my 5 1/2 and 3 year old really enjoyed the pools and the apartment (2 bedroom) and al that it had to offer. It was home away from home and had everything we needed.

Apartment a bit dark

The swimming pool facilities were fantastic. Large and spacious apartment. Might need an up-grade on the furniture.

The fact that the café was not open near the pool area. To pay to use the swimming pool towel. More than happy to pay $10/towel to hire rather than $5 to borrow a towel. This would be helpful information for local families who are looking for a short break from Cairns city who might have brought a towel from home.

No fly-screens on the main doors with access to the pool. The one door you couldn't even lock thus our safety was compromised. The blinds at the one side were broken and a broken metal rod was sticking out- injury hazard ! The cleanliness was very poor around the room. They would replace the sheets and towels every 6 days. The TVs inside the rooms were 10+ years old. The one in the living room only 32" (too small for that space). Lack of maintenance around the room. Not happy with pretty much everything. The lighting was very poor inside the rooms. It only had "romantic lights" and you couldn't see much. The pool in front of our room was at least 1.5m deep except on the sides but the sign was showing 1.2m depth. More hazards to deal with... Lastly, the resort could not even offer coffee since their only cafe was closed. No room service either of any kind.

Great pool for small children. Short walk to beach and cafes.
