Loved how cosy it was, had everything we could need, beautiful garden. Communication from the owner was great.

Lack of wifi combined with no phone signal was a bit tricky.

- The bed was very comfortable! - Drinking water provided - Easy access to keys at any time, reducing contact and allowed us to check in at 9pm - Privacy and no neighbours (as compared to standard hotel accommodation ) - Chocolates and sparkling wine provided on arrival - Cooking facilities available - It is very conveniently located: less than a 10 minute walk to the main street cafes

The bed was super comfortable and the cottage was quite spacious and homely. Loved having laundry facilities! Host was very generous with complimentary bubbly and chocolates etc.

Very weak wifi signal. Couldn't find a router so assume it's piggybacking from next door. Signal is very poor and drops out constantly. Would have been an issue if we had to work, but luckily that was not the case.

Good location! One of the best accomodation which allows pets. Clean and tidy. Jonathan is very friendly and communication is a breeze since the beginning.

The place was clean other than a dead cockroach in the utensil draw.

All the photos made the place look secluded where in reality did not know the owners house was overlooking the cottage closely and did not make it feel private at all. Wish we knew this beforehand.

The log fire, waling distance to Montville, host extremely well organised, nice verandah are garden, very private. Not that we brought our dog this time, however, it is a good set up for a small to medium sized dog and we will probably bring next time.

Salt and peper, sauce, basic condiments for cooking wicked have been handy, but overall pretty minor. Some seem to have others not.

Location, cozy, firebox, serenity, comfy bed, nice gestures such as champagne, chocolates, firewood ready, fresh coffee and 4 towels .

No internet, no tissues or paper towel, poor selection of cooking pots and pans which is important as we primarily self cater; loose handles on a number of the pots and lids, frying pan too small and no lid; rubber utensils to get food out of the frying pan were pretty useless; the Roman blinds on the main glass sliding door didn’t work well; no bread knife, CD player did not work; only 1 bread board.

Great location and quiet.

The washing machine/dryer shakes the building!

Lovely host, who provided some extras to make the stay enjoyable.

Absolutely loved everything about this stay. Will 100% be rebooking to stay again at a point. Beautiful spot, close to the village, totally unwind and decompress.
