Ik heb al in heel wat hotels verbleven in verschillende landen maar deze was met voorsprong de slechtste prijs-kwaliteits verhouding ooit. De oppervlakte van de kamer is het woord kamer niet waardig. Zeker niet voor zo'n prijs. Onmogelijk om daar met 2 mensen in te verblijven.

Room service was very bad. They gave me only one set of towels. I stayed for 5 nights. I understand we need to be careful about towel usage but I don't understand why they couldn't change their policy for long term stays.

Clean, warm, good facilities. Helpful staff. Didn't have breakfast but looked good and reasonable price.

Bigger bin in the bedroom or more regular emptying would be helpful.

location in Central - near to most of the tour meeting point and restaurants . just need to walk up hill ( difficult if with bags )

property was in a very good location.

the room was way too small for a couple. we had three hangers as a wardrobe - two of which were taken by our jackets. we had no space to move around in the room, our luggage’s had to remain closed, and open them each time we needed something. The radiator was detached from the wall, and we had two holes in the wall where there must have been two hanging hooks as a wardrobe. We had a tiny dustbin for two people, and the room is supposed to be cleared after your 4th night - when they came to the room, they just changed our towels, nothing else was seen to. sheets were not changed, beds were not made, empty bottles which didn’t fit in the tiny bin were left on the floor.

The hotel is centrally located and easy to find.The rooms are very comfortable and warm.The staff are friendly and helpful.I particularly appreciated the communal area downstairs which was like a cafe with tea,coffee ,soft drinks and water on tap 24 hrs.There was even a microwave to warm up food.In addition ,the breakfast buffet offered a spectacular variety of fresh foods,hot and cold to choose from.Highly recommended.

Easy check in the early hours in the morning. Hotel was very clean and conveniently located in central Tromsø, so easy walk to all the main attractions and restaurants. Super comfy bed, just wish the rooms were a little bigger, but for the price it was a great base for out trip. Free tea and coffee in the lobby was a nice touch :)

Rooms are very small with no storage so would only advise to stay for a couple of nights.

The location. Also, there is a girl who works for Magic Tromso and her based is in the reception of smarthotel. She helped us to book a last minute great tour, because we wanted to have a 2nd experience of the northern lights and at that moment there wasn't any available tour.

I didn't like that we stayed for 3 nights in this hotel and nobody came to clean our room. It was a big deal to be honest, but we would love to have it instead of not..but still a nice stay.

Staff unwilling to help with luggage storage

It was a clean and warm hotel, quite basic, but we got what we paid for. The location was great as well. We could walk everywhere. Breakfast was rich and tasty. We liked the tea and coffee (and the lemon water! ) that was available 0-24. Thank you!

Everything was great. The rooms were small, but we knew it from other travellers' reviews. And we went to Tromso not to stay in the rooms :-)

All the facilities are clean and very comfortable. I slept quite well and was surprised that the floor of the bathroom was heated. Even though the room was small, I had everything I needed for a business trip.

The room is quite small and you only have the basic needs for a hotel (comfortable bed, shower, small bathroom and desk). If travelling with a lot of luggage, you might not be easy to walk in the room.

Great room and price!

Shower really could use wall to keep the water from spilling out all over the floor. ALSO THE fan didn't work very well and could us more places to hang towels.

The rooms are clean and modern equipped but definitely too tiny. Especially for 2 people with luggage in a double room and for this price. Not much space to turn around or to sit instead of the bed. The breakfast was really nice. Huge variety of different breakfast options to eat. The personal was friendly and helpful and regarding organisation all worked well.
