Everything was amazing. Arne was super friendly and the apartment was perfect and very well equipped. Great location to explore Tromso by foot and very well priced.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Red Old House. Arne is the best host I have ever met, friendly, kind, and hospitable. He truly cares about providing his guests with an incredible experience in Tromso. The house is authentic with lots of amenities, clean, warm (very necessary in winter in Tromso), and comfortable.
Everything was amazing, there is nothing we did not like.

If there was a score of 100 i would choose it. Except from great location the clean and wonderful house with a strong traditional character, many thanks to the hosts Arnes and Elisabeth they are very hospitable kind! maybe I should say a little about these hosts. It is definitely worth staying in this I highly recommend the apparent.10/10!! I will be back!

I would give 100 points if i could. We had the most amazing host ever. The apartment was clean, the bed was super comfortable and the water pressure was better than my one at home.

The host met us at the door with a big smile and helped us with our suitcases. He was very welcoming and explained all the features of the apartment and gave us recommendations for dinner and drinks in town.
What we didn't like had nothing to do with the property.
We just got a little bit of bad weather but being so up north it is to be expected.

We enjoyed our time in the red old house soo much! It was a wonderful stay at the home of Elizabeth and Arne, who welcomed us so warmly and were always the for questions and some stories about tromsö and themselves. The house itself is a very special place in an interesting street. And although Elizabeth and Arne were a little bit tired about that much snow, we enjoyed being in a little town with so much peace in it. Thanks a lot!

The house is perfect and cozy. It was very comfortable and spacious. Own kitchen with a wonderful view (have seen aurora twice though the window) was the best thing to have. Working stove, coffee and tea available. The place was warm and had comfortable beds. It had a beautiful artwork and lots of guides. We loved it. Arne was a perfect landlord, he was very helpful and smiling and had wonderful stories. The place was close to center - walking distance with a perfect view from the hilltop. This was the best trip we had and I really recommend the Old Red House if you are looking at a private and cozy atmosphere in city center. The house's number corresponds to the latitude of Tromso :)) which is just a perfect coincidence :)

We liked the short distance to the city center, the great hospitality of Arne (the host) and the coziness.
We recommend a stay here to everyone. But wouldn't mind keeping it all to ourselves.
