It was very clean, was nice for the price, was about a 5 minute drive from event I was attending

False photos provided on the view of the Gabba. Going by supplied photos and emails we we're told the unit had views of the Gabba. On arrival 3/4 of the view was blocked out by new buildings. Very unhappy with that.

the apartments are great and location exceptional

I called earlier in evening and offered to pay first night over phone- since the previous time I was paying each day and they were only too happy to take my money. I was told yes, but not to worry and just pay when I get there. I got held up with organising care for my dog since they had no pet friendly rooms available. Was sorted very late and my anxiety was through the roof with the threat of my ex who has both threatened to kill me and said he wants to beat me until I am in hospital bed. however, when I was trying to be safe from violent ex with new DVO issued by police- late -trying to check in- I copped rude indifference and issues with the after hours management. so when I called, he said he was coming down- I then left my partner there to complete check in- as we were stressed and snapping at each other, but he is known to this location due to how often we were staying, I got back a little under two hours later without any idea the hotel after hours had refused my partner check in. I then called and asked why- albeit short and agitated- and was told he was not going to be doing our check in because we had been wasting his time. I was not called at any point to tell me this, he didn’t message me on booking.com and he went so far as to tell me I am permanently banned from there. I have spent well over $2500 there in the last month, my partner has been with me on every occasion I have been there, and I have not done anything that could be considered inconsiderate or damaging to the apartments or other guests staying there. I find it disgraceful and he even threatened me and lied about the reasons he didn’t do check in. he claimed it was payment issue, despite me calling and resolving any issues they could have had there, and challenged my right to share what happened before stating not to post reviews on here or google.
