We loved staying at the Villa Bougainvillea. The place was charming with a beautiful garden and walkable to good beaches w/ snorkeling. We liked that it was close enough to everything (by car), but removed from the more touristy parts of the island. Rona was a delightful host and incredibly helpful w/ insights and suggestions for Aruba (and the rest of the Dutch Caribbean, too). Thank you again!

Everything was perfect.

The host was quick to respond and offered local activities. The location was quite yet near many of the island's main attractions. A great place for a couple's retreat.

A few minor amenities like shampoo and conditioner were missing. The kitchen didn't have an over, but the host did have a grill for guest use.

The location was a walk across the street from Malmok beach. Beds where close to the windows, which allowed for hearing the islands winds all night. The hostess was easy going and everything felt safe. After day one, I felt like I was with a good friend who offered me items to care for my husband, who fell ill during our vacation. Close to the light house. Her book! I wish I would have purchased one prior to leaving.

Beds leaned to the center. Pillows were comfortable though. Expect a small TV. We were not there to watch tv, so we didn't care. Looks dated, but feels comfortable in no time. I do not regret my choice. Not in party central, but close enough to the High Rise district, "the strip", for good eats. I liked the quite atmosphere. Conducive for birds.

Rona was an amazingly gracious host! The property is just beautiful. I would highly recommend staying there over a resort.

Loved our stay, it was quiet and peaceful, just what we needed. Loved the garden and pool area and the hospitality. Love everything about our short stay (4 days)

Internet wasn't good, I think they were in the process of upgrading to changing. Nevertheless, our only complaint was that I wish the internet was better.

Lovely place in the north of Aruba. We enjoyed being around the dogs a lot. Rona takes care of some rescue dogs and we all had a big and cuddly meet&greet. The place with the refreshing pool is very nice. Only a few minutes to a great snorkeling spot to see turtles. Bring your rental car and you will have a great time up in the north in this lovely place and great garden.

The backyard is beautiful and private. Outdoor shower with birds and lizards everywhere really brought nature to the forefront of this getaway. The host was wonderful and everything was exceptionally clean.

Genuinely have no complaints this was a beautiful property, in a great location with a fabulous host. Do not flush toilet paper however which was weird but its an island thing not a property thing!

From the moment I made the booking, the owner, Rona was in contact with a warm welcome, offering assistance and information and answering any questions I had. Once I arrived, the Villa was exactly as pictured an described -in fact, even better and more beautiful. The Tango Villa was clean, perfectly sized and had all of the amenities needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The gardens and pool are beautiful and have a mesmerizing quirky and artistic charm. Rona, the owner and hostess is an absolute pleasure to spend time with and is a wealth of island information and historical facts. Her charm, humor, and generosity made the trip even more special. Villa Bougainvillea is not for those seeking an all-inclusive, rowdy hotel-based experience. It is best for those who desire to really experience Aruba and all it has to offer. I consider it my Aruban home away from home. The Villa is in a perfect location, easy to find, near many of the best beaches and has easy access to all main roads and attractions. . One caveat, Rona has several large dogs who are part of the family. They are all completely friendly and loveable and just add to the feeling of being at home in paradise.

Location, close to the beach, property is beautiful, the owner and staff very nice, helpful and efficient. Nice to have pool and outdoor shower , beautiful garden and friendly dogs on the property. Comfortable beds.

Kitchenette is very small, not for real cooking , but we got by, not real stove , just the microwave, tea kettle, coffee maker, and limited utensils, but it was OK. Dining table could be a little bigger.
