the location of the hotel was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located near the city center, which we found to be a significant plus. We also appreciated the complimentary coffee offered in the lobby, a nice touch that added to our overall experience
the hotel parking was not available as it was fully booked. Instead, we were directed to use a public car park, which was an 800-meter walk away and cost 30€ per day. We were informed that even if the hotel parking had been available, it was still a 10-minute walk away. This was somewhat inconvenient and an unexpected during our stay

This was our first trip to Utrecht and we had the pleasure of staying at the EYE Hotel. The staff was exceptional! The room was larger than we expected and had everything we needed including a lovely walk-in shower and a very comfy bed. Breakfast was meat, cheese, eggs, bacon, yogurt, etc., very European and delicious. We could not have asked for a better location...shops, restaurants, the canals were all just a very short walk away on lovely streets. When we go back to Utrecht again, we won't have to search for a hotel...we've found the one we'll always go back to.

Excellent central location, although, if you have a car, the car park is not that close, nor is it free. Sharing a room in three made it affordable, but would not call it cheap or 'good value' (although that extends to accommodations in the area in general).
The shower had a very sahllow plate, so water would easily overflow and flood the bathroom and hallway if not very careful - or quick. The decor was fine, but rather cold, with everything painted white. The layout of the hotel awkward. Breakfast was ok, but coffees were motel-style from a self-serve machine; on one day we were aksed how we wanted our eggs, the next day we were not.

A very warm welcome from reception staff put us in a good mood to enjoy our stay and the welcome card we found in our room was a nice touch. The room was spacious, quiet and bright with a very comfy bed with interesting/fun/quirky decor. The location was very convenient for the centre of Utrecht. Breakfast was very good, and there are a number of cafes nearby if you want to explore alternatives.
We loved everything in this place, and a comfy chair in the room would have been the 'icing on the cake' that would have made it a '10' rating.

Great location in the city centre. The staff was very nice and it was quiet.
The bed was a little to soft for me, but since that’s a very personal comfort thing I cannot deduct any points for that.

Spacious and comfortable family room in a lovely old building. The separate bunk area for the kids was great. Centrally located, for easy foot access around Utrecht. Helpful and friendly staff. Tasty breakfast (though not buffet).
The carpark is off site and not so easy to find. There was also some mix up with us being double charged for breakfasts and carparking - staff were very helpful to sort it out once identified, but I do recommend checking carefully before you pay.
