Ruime kamer met heerlijk bed en een lekkere regen-douche

Het hotel lag op een mooi gelegen plek! Netjes verzorgd en goed geregeld.

Het was ‘s avonds wat rumoerig van de terrassen buiten, maar we waren er dan ook op een zaterdagavond.

Super easy to check in, they make sure to give you all the details beforehand. They were nice enough to let me check in later since my train was delayed. I was positively surprised by the room. It was cozy, big, well decorated and it even had coffee/tea. The location is excellent, close to the main station and to the city center. I'd definitely go back!

Nothing to complain really. The main thing has been discussed already by other travelers which is the noise. I went on a Tuesday and there is a restaurant downstairs. Of course, you can hear a lot since it's an old building. But around 23h, everybody was already out and then I couldn't hear anything anymore. So I had no problems sleeping.

Je kan geen enkel raam open doen. Ik dacht dat het in een boutique hotel in een pand als dat van brass wel mogelijk zou zijn. Maar dat is dus niet het geval. Er is wel een lichtverversingssysteem maar dat is toch anders dan lucht van buiten.

The location was good; close to the centre.

A small fridge in the room would have been nice.

Het was op een mooie centrale plek, de uitstraling van het hotel is erg mooi. De kamer was groot, schoon en had een mooi uitzicht.

Er was geen ontbijt. Bij binnenkomst het leuke zitje met de mogelijkheid om thee of koffie te maken en nuttigen. Fijne sfeer.

Erg schoon en comfortabele kamer. Fijne afstand van het stadscentrum en een heerlijk restaurant.

Wij waren er in het weekend dus er wat wel wat flink geluid nachts van de mensen die aan het feesten waren. Nu vinden wij dat niet erg en hadden we rekening mee gehouden maar toch wordt je er automatisch af en toe wakker van. Maar dit geluid is te verwachten in zo stad en in deze tijd! Ze hebben overigs wel oordopjes liggen dus dat is top!

Goede faciliteiten zoals koffiezetapparaat, bed, douche en toilet. Ruime kaner.

1 puntje slechts:er stond geen fles wijn of champagne klaar op de kamer.

Ligging van hotel was super. Heel goed gelegen om Utrecht te verkennen, alles op wandelafstand. Personeel vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. Wel jammer dat bagage niet vooraf kan afgegeven worden.

Wat geluidsoverlast. Vond dit zelf niet erg maar kan voor sommige gasten wel zo zijn. Geluidhinder van keuken en restaurant.

Buiten de fantastische locatie is de kamer in 1 woord GEWELDIG! Grote ruime kamer met een superfijn Auping bed. Alles klopte op de kamer en het was mede daardoor een heel fijn verblijf. Een leuk zitje met mooie designlamp met zelfde tint gordijnen maken het plaatje compleet.

Alles was top!

Excellent location, easy walk from the train station and in the heart of the old town area, so it was easy to walk everywhere we wanted. The rooms were very well kept, clean, and supplied; nicely decorated and lots of windows. Communication to check in and access the property and building was excellent and easy. It was quiet even with a few restaurants just outside, the air conditioning is a plus for comfort and quiet at night. Utrecht is a beautiful city and we enjoyed exploring it for a few days from here. The restaurant was not open the days we happened to be there but it looked very nice and the menus looked very good as well. We would definitely recommend this property.

No concerns but take note this is, as advertised, a boutique hotel, there typically was not staff present at the hotel but they were available via phone/text if needed. This was fine with us, but do not expect concierge services.

The rooms were spacious with a lot of light. The arrival box with information about the hotel, some peppermints and earplugs was a nice touch. Having coffee in the room was also great.

Very central, yet surprisingly quiet. Bed and bathroom were superb.

It was a pity that there was nowhere to store bikes overnight, nor that breakfast was unavailable, but we knew that when booking. Internet/Wifi unlocking of front door and room door was new to us but worked well.

Impossible to sleep! Since it’s located at a square where students party all night long it’s impossible to sleep until they go home at 6 in the morning! Hotel provides earplugs: still not okay! Maybe in the winter it would be better, but definitely not with good weather/in the summertime! Regretted staying here… No breakfast available at the property, even though they have a restaurant.

Great rooms. Very clean. Location absolutely central. Needed to stay an additional night and was quickly arranged. Very close to great restaurants. Surrounded by bars. Beds super comfy. Thanks for a great stay.

Wifi did not work fine

No place to leave your luggage after checkout when you still want to explore Utrecht before leaving.

lovely decoration, very modern, good location, happy that we didn’t stay on the weekend because it’s surrounded by loads of bars and restaurants, easy check in but very technological, everything through a link, I was afraid to run out of battery otherwise I wouldn’t open, no reception

Staff was invisible. Literally. We stayed three nights and only saw someone when we checked in. While the building was lovely - a 16th century town house - we felt as though we were an inconvenience to the few fleeting staff we saw at a distance. There is no front desk, no one to ask anything of, and no one to check us out at the end of our stay. Truly bizarre. Also bizarre: the hotel restaurant is open for dinner a few days a week. Set menu with several courses. When we inquired what was on the menu, we were told it was a 'mystery", although they later relented and informed us there would be a vegetable dish, meat dish and fish dish. Sorry. Not paying 50 euros each for a 'mystery' meal. Additionally, the hotel is on a plaza with several bars and restaurants. While quiet during the week, Friday and Saturday nights are lively - and loud. We were given ear plugs on arrival and found we needed them.

This is a beautiful hotel. Warning: Stairs are steep as is often the case in the Netherlands. While service is minimal, this is well expained in the announcement. The stay could have been pleasant.

I stayed over a May weekend with nice weather and had asked for a quiet room. I was told: "We will take your wish for a quiet room into account as much as possible. But we would like to share with you that our hotel in the old town, is located on a church square with various catering establishments." What I did not know: there would be drinking and "singing" going until 3 am all three nights that I spent there. There is essentially no soundproofing in the room. Even with earplugs it was not quiet. Thus, if you are looking for a not very noisy place to stay this seems to be the wrong place. (Note that some rooms may work better since they are not facing the square or may have some soundproofing.)

- unfortunately, it was very loud until late at night due to the bars next door, the windows are not soundproof at all - you can't open the windows - they told us we had to check in until 8pm and in the end we received a digital door card so we didn't even meet anybody - didn't make sense to us

The bed was confortable, the shower was very clean and modern; The room was very clean and comfortable, the outside-noise was limited.

We had a problem of noise from the airco, which was not adjustable.

The room was nicely decorated, bed was comfortable, located close to shops, bars and restaurants.

Room was not well equipped, did not supply pods for the coffee machine or milk for coffee. There wasn't any face cloth the first day. We had to ask for toilet paper as the cleaner didn't restock. The walkway in front of the hotel was strewn with litter. We would not stay here again. There weren't any instructions provided for the TV services.
