The apartman was in extremely nice location, in downtown of Utrecht, all important location was very close. The building is a remodeled old Dutch house, it was exciting to live there. Our host was very friendly, we have received welcome gift and he was really flexible with the checkout.

The only drawback I would mention was the narrow and steep stairs going to the first floor - it is not suited for older guests or people with disabilities. On hot summer days the gallery could become warm. I would recommend to add a microwave oven which were missed sometimes.

The location is excellent - in the city center. The pizza downstairs is delicious and the host is very responsable.

The sofa is not very comfortable to sleep on.

Very roomy, very clean. There is a washing machine in the unit, a nearby laundromat served for drying. Well equipped. Good wifi. There was a minor problem with the TV and the host responded within 5 minutes, came and reset it. The property is above a pizza restaurant and overlooks a popular pedestrian only street lined with many eateries. The host brought up a very tasty complimentary pizza! Google maps are not all that accurate here, put in "O'Panuozzo Neapolitan Pizzeria" instead. Keys are in a lockbox.

Although this was not a problem for us, access to the apartment is up a very narrow, very steep winding staircase. There is a full sized bed next to the dining area, but the main bedroom area is up a ladder in the loft. We were on the third floor, the second floor layout may be different. Large guests and elderly may not be able to navigate! Street noise from the restaurants below went well into the night but by closing the facing windows and opening the skylight windows ventilation and noise were not problems. Overall a very enjoyable part of town and accommodation! Host supplied an Uber from AMS!

This is a lovely comfortable, clean apartment above a beautiful little restaurant in the old town - just absolutely charming.

It’s a nice appartement, fantastic location in the middle of the city centre, close to shops, restaurants, station. The kitchen is well equipped, and the appartement is well maintained. We were staying on the top floor, with 2 bed areas; one behind the kitchen and bathroom, and one upstairs on the vide. The room is quite spacious, and furniture is comfortable. The stairs have been mentioned by many travelers. They are ok, typical European style stairs, winding and a bit narrow. What makes it hard is the fact that the restaurant downstairs uses the wall to hang stuff like folding chairs, shopping trolleys etc. This leaves a very narrow and steep path on the stairs to navigate through.

There are a few things to note, some beyond the owners control. For instance the low ceiling in a part of the apartment, taller than 1.70m you will bump your head. Also, the appartement is in a street with many terraces, restaurants, liveliness. And there is an Italian restaurant on ground floor. so it becomes quite noisy at night. For us not such an issue, but if you seek quite nights you need to take ear plugs. Because the bed is on the vide and further away from the street, it’s doable. Then some things within control of the owner. The vide has 6 windows, and no curtains. So in summer you will wake early and for us, overcoming a jetlag, this was really not expected or nice. Also, the neighboring window looks right onto the bed, which is very awkward. The wifi is good enough for leisure but definitely not for video calls or work. Which is a surprise as whole of the city is on glasfiber and so wifi should not be an issue at all, technically. And last, the mattress has certainly seen better days and should be replaced probably. It’s soft, but bumpy like rolling hills. These few things are within control of owner to improve, we have delivered the feedback to him but we did not get the impression he was very interested to solve it. For me, although it is a very nice appartement on a great location, this isa reason not to come back here.

The property is In the very center. It is very clean and comfortable suit with full of light. Besides the host is wonderful, the pizzas are excellent. The suite is equipped with everything that you may need, including a washing machine. There is even a bottle of wine waiting for us. One of the best we have been up to now. Would be perfect for young people, or small families.

There is a little bit street noise if your ears are picky, and it may be hard to reach at old age, or for people having disabilities (who need assistance for walking).

The location is good- very central but also very noisy from the restaurant downstairs.

The beds were awful and the sleeping couch is not meant for anything but sitting. The kettle didn't work and the fridge door was almost falling off. This apartment only offered the bare minimum and we were not impressed with our stay. Would not recommend staying here at all...

This was a fabulous property for adults as it was right in the center for all the pubs and restaurants. The two single beds were very comfortable and the apartment was spotless.

It was very noisy at night so not suitable for children if sleeping on the sofa bed.

Centally located premises. The feedback on the beds was positively taken.

It seems that one of the bed need either replacement of major repairs to avoid annoying sound. Mattress was comfortable.

The apartment comes across rather tired. One blind is broken, main bathroom light is not working, fat stains on the kitchen wall, broken door on the fridge... It's makes the impression maintenance is neglected and doesn't look as nice as in the pictures. All these small things together make the overall experience not as nice as expected.

Tidy little city center apartment. Real easy key pick up from the owner of the pizza place that sits bellow the flat. Great pizza in there btw, worth trying! This is a real city center apartment where you sit in a busy little corner of the city. We loved that! Sure, there is noise from the restaurants bellow but that is to be expected. Coming home after a night and opening the window and listening to the hustle and bustle with a glass of wine was cool. The stairs have been mentioned in other reviews and they are a bit tight. In fairness the staff in the Pizzeria did offer to take our bags upstairs but for us it was fine. Again, this is what you get in a Dutch city center apartment so we expected it. We felt it was good value, nearly half the price of hotels on the same dates offering family rooms. That free's up a lot of 'fun money' :) ! Overall we felt the price point versus quality was fair, we enjoyed our stay.

Better water pressure in the shower, but that is me being ultra picky. Everything else was as expected.
