From the appartment you can reach the city center of Ponta Delgada by a half-an-hour walk. There's a private parking spot in the courtyard behind an automated gate, so you don't have to search for a space in the street nor worry about your car. The appartment was very spacious, really clean and above all insect proof for our whole stay, which - having an experience with two different accomodations in Ponta Delgada - is not always the case. There is pretty much everything you might need for cooking, there's a big fridge, a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's also a comfy couch in the living room, a large bedroom and a big nice bathroom. The communication with the host and the check-in was very easy. There were help cards with all important information for the guests. The owner was always willing to help and for example when there was a minor problem with the washing machine, she immediately took an action and the very next day someone came to repair it, so you can always count on having someone to deal with any troubles. Right behind the corner there's a Santo António pineapple plantation, where you can get a free tour and buy some delicious stuff like their pineapples or pineapple Kima soda.

The appartment is at the ground floor with windows facing the entrance to the parking courtyard, so sometimes you have people passing by next to the windows.

Central location of the island and a perfect base to explore the island. Sara was always willing to help with information with trips and tips about the area.
