Everything from parking the car to reception, being shown to our room which was excellent, ALL staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful, exceptional cleanliness, good food and service brilliant, would definitely recommend

Absolutely nothing

All food was I believe freshly cooked and hot when served and delicious well worth the prices . Room was spacious and warm. Tea, coffee and biccies replenished each day.

Excellent rooms, great staff, excellent restaurant.

It is on a busy road which we knew before we booked. Traffic noise is minimal if you close the windows and put on the air conditioning.

It was beautifully decorated and very clean. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was amazing either way and great choice and the waving meal we had was as delicious.

The property was so popular the bar was always very busy with football showing most evenings, unfortunately because of it’s popularity there wasn’t anywhere to sit and enjoy a quiet coffee and chat with our friends after our evening meal.

Close to the Eden project, clean room, comfy bed and friendly staff. Evening meal was fine , breakfast was excellent

The room was large and well equipped. The food in the restaurant was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The shower in our room was wonderful.

The hotel is fabulous, the rooms were very comfortable and what you need for a relaxing holiday. Everything was very clean and extremely well priced for the facilities/breakfast included. The staff were very friendly and always accommodating. Definitely recommend having breakfast and dinner there it was fabulous. The pub downstairs also has a cosy atmosphere and the noise doesn’t travel to the rooms at all. Highly recommend!

Our room smelt terribly damp. Our bed was very uncomfortable (needs a new mattress)

Terrific room, standard was as good as any hotel we have stayed in, recently decorated to a high quality. Excellent restaurant.

I realise drink prices vary from pub to pub but my pet hate is when the price of an identical round of drinks varies on the same night, as it did here, by as much as £1.40 on two drinks.

Everything was brilliant, from the room and cleaning to the breakfast in the morning. We loved it!Definitely going back!:)

Man sollte wissen, dass abends Gaststättenbetrieb mit Außenwirtschaft stattfindet, an einem Abend mit Livemusik. Das war alles angekündigt und in einem guten, gemäßigten Rahmen. Insofern bitte nicht als Kritik lesen, sondern nur als Info.

Check in they were very helpful and allowed us an earlier check in so that we could change before leaving for a funeral which was much appreciated

Room a little hot at night had to switch air conditioner off as a little noisy but not to much of a problem

Lovely rooms. Staff were great. Food was fabulous. Couldn’t fault it.

From start to finish our stay exceeded all expectations. A warm friendly arrival, beautiful room, perfect breakfast- even hot toast!

A full length mirror in the bedroom - not usually an issue but we were going to a posh occasion and it would have been nice to fully check out the frock😁

Great location easy to find, plenty of free parking, I received email prior to arrival to advise a function taking place in marquee and music would be played until 11pm this is great customer service to advise prior to arrival I did appreciate it would be busy and noisy which did not impact on my stay. Very welcoming checkin helpful with table for dinner food excellent, room fantastic everything I needed good size and very clean bathroom very good too. I would stay again if in area and would recommend for a clean and comfortable stay with excellent staff and food.

Easy to find and very close to many attractions that we want to see

The Britannia was excellent in every way. Our room was very comfortable, bathroom was spotless. Food was simply the best. Breakfast were yummy. Evening meal,lots of choices, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

There was nothing not to like..

Although we we given a smaller room upon arrival, the room was clean, modern and comfortable. The location was good for us.

Some of the staff were rude and not very friendly, it was almost an effort to serve us. Also, the main meal in the evening was expensive and small in size. Likewise, the breakfast didn't have much choice.

Fabulous and spacious room with comfortable bed and super shower. 5 minutes from Eden project which was the reason we stayed here. Great bar which served lovely food. Breakfast was HUGE! Staff were all brilliant

Staff were great, so helpful and friendly! We stayed in a cosy double, very clean and with the weather we’re having the air con was perfect! Food was really tasty too. Would definitely stay again.

So clean such a great location - super spacious room and lovely breakfast at a very good price - will definately stay again 😀

Nothing didn't like - just a suggestion of a mini fridge in the room would have been helpful.
