Cool air, greenery, nice pool.

Water pressure on day 2 and the heater stopped working on day 2.

We, group of 12, are very satisfy with our stay at JR villa. The spacious semi-open air lounge that provides great view of rainforest is really impressive, the full-size well equipped kitchen is so convenient for our food preparation and the Living room is complete with a large screen TV with Astro that enable my mum to continue watching her favourite drama. At night, the kids enjoyed very much of viewing the sky that full with stars, and there were some fireflies flying just next to the balcony. The villa didn't provide anti-slip in bathroom, however upon my request for the safety of my parents, the owner purposely bought and placed the anti-slip mats in the bathrooms for us, thank you very much Ms Malani. Overall, it was a wonderful weekend break for us at the villa, I will recommend this great villa to my friends. It will be prefect if swimming pool cleanliness being improved and with less chlorine/chemical contain.

The natural, serene, peaceful environment. Quite soothing and calming watching the rain and sunrise, except when there is loud noise from kids/ guests at the swimming pool nearby. We upgraded to a larger room immediately, with better wifi and further away from the pool. The host/owner is kind and attended patiently to our needs. Her staffs are friendly and helpful as well. Overall, still a pleasant and healing stay.

Noise from the pool, depends on which room you stay. No food vending machine, mini marts, or restaurants up in the mountain, luckily my family insisted to bring some food to cook/bbq. Not a big deal if you are planning to stay in the room with electric bbq tool and cooking utensils available. Poor wifi (if you need it, ignore if you don't), yet not a big deal too. Find it slightly pricey.

The pool was splendid. The architecture was the resort was really beautiful ❤️. The best part of all, is the amazing view of the mountains.

The lighting was poor in the exterior. No mirrors in the room.

De Serenity offers a stunning view of the forest with great service and well-equipped clean villa. You'll be provided with necessary items like drinking water, cooking utensils, fridge, rice cooker, toaster, portable BBQ pit, two giant loaves of bread and even mosquito coils for your comfort. Staff welcomed our arrival and communicated effectively on where to park and provided the WiFi password through WhatsApp. We were lucky to get the public pool to ourselves as there were no other guests during our two-nights stay. For breakfast, they provided packets of nasi lemak, noodles and some kuih which was really nice. Overall, it was a satisfying experience.

In terms of Internet connectivity, some might struggle as there are no phone lines and the WiFi connection is unstable. Which is great for people like me because I get to avoid work. But here's a tip: download whatever movies/TV shows/music so you can watch/listen offline. In other words, bring your own entertainment to keep yourselves occupied.

Heaven place to relax. Enjoy with family.

A really nice place if you want a forest retreat and take a break from technology. There is not much mobile service and wifi is slow, definitely good to take a break after a long week of facing laptop. They event deliver breakfast at your door!!!

The journey to the place is very narrow, winding and scary. If you're travelling at night will feel spooked. If there is another vehicle coming down the opposite way, you will end up in a bind. My advice is to drive safe and not speed!

Amenities in the room.

The bed and pillow at Jakob villa. All the other things in the unit were superb. The cutlery, a good shower cream, iron box, iron board, ridsect, mosquito coils, match box, candle are all provided. But the most crucial part bedding (the mattress & pillow has to be improved). Otherwise, a really top notch unit.

This place has a lovely view. The staff is very friendly and the place is very clean. Feeling at home and enjoying our stay here.
