I use VRBO properties all the time. They have all been wonderful. This charming little house could possibly be my new favorite. The host is what sets this property apart. So many personal touches, warm cookies, and pastries from a local bakery greeted us. The sheets and towels were top quality soft. The location is walking distance to all of the fun spots and shopping in SLO.

Place was great for our short stay in SLO! Walkable to downtown, and also well-stocked kitchen, including the breakfast.

The fact that Nancy enjoys hosting is evident in all the details and beautiful accommodations. The location was great and we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. From fresh baked cookies to a lovely well-appointed space this rental was definitely one I hope to return to again.

This will probably go down as one of our most memorable/best stays to date. The home was perfectly SLO and had a bunch of tiny details/amenities that made it above and beyond the expected. From the welcome baked goods to the relaxing garden patio, this place was amazing. If anything the place is on the smaller side but still fit 2 couples sufficiently. The location is also right off the freeway entrance so it can get noisy. Still, we will definitely be coming back for this stay on our next trip because the service and care were duly noted. Great stay!!! Upon arrival there were pastries from a local bakery with the best blueberry muffin! Fresh baked cookies and other items provided by the host gave the feeling of home. Clean and organized with a sitting area right outside the front door surrounded by flowers. Nancy was readily available if we had any questions or needed anything. Location is very close to downtown SLO and there is easy access to the 101 hwy. We stayed a week and it was wonderful. Best host ever!

What a lovely little getaway! We absolutely enjoyed this home; it was decorated wonderfully and was very clean and taken care of. Nancy's attention to detail is impeccable and thoughtful...we loved the goodies, fruits, drinks etc. Thank you for such an enjoyable weekend; we'll be back for sure!!

We loved staying here! The house was exactly as described plus was really well equipped for a longer stay. Nancy provided many extra amenities like a welcome breakfast, extra water, toiletries and beach supplies not to mention the place was spotless! We loved hanging out in the outdoor patio area, it was perfectly landscaped with lush tropical plants, was private and had some very comfortable patio furniture. Parking was never a big issue, we were always able to find street parking on the same block. The only minor concern was that traffic noise can be fairly loud since it is near a freeway off-ramp but Nancy’s phenomenal hospitality, the great location close to town and all the amenities made this a near perfect stay!

Great access to downtown and freeway access. Side garden patio delightful for morning coffee. Pretty soundproof between the two bedrooms and everything so conveniently marked by owner!

This VRBO is amazing. Extra amenities (cookies, snacks, local pastries, coffee, cream) were there when we arrived. It is decorated very tastefully and comfortably. We really enjoyed our stay and wished we would have found this place five years ago before my daughter graduated! And Nancy is great to work with. Very communicative and responsive when we needed something.

Nancy is the best VRBO hostess! She was easy to communicate with and she was very prompt in her communication. The unit was as described and the location worked perfectly for our visit. The lovely continental breakfast items waiting for us on arrival were yummy and unexpected. We've never had such a treat when staying at other VRBO's. The homemade cookies made us all smile like little kids.

This is the second time we have rented from Nancy and everything was perfect as usual! She adds a lot of personal touches that really takes the rental to the next level! When we stay in SLO we will always stay at her place!

Firstly Nancy was very responsive and helped us sort out some issues we were having with payment. She was kind, understanding and very helpful. Nancy’s cottage was lovely, and comfortable. She had a very well provisioned kitchen for our 8 day stay. She made us feel welcome, by leaving us fresh cookies she baked herself as well as some delicious local bakery pastries. The cottage had a lovely garden with seating and a small cafe table for eating, and enjoying the outdoors. Her house was spotless clean. The neighbourhood was great, with access to the downtown and many hiking and cycling areas. We encountered some internet issues and Nancy was quick to respond and get it sorted out for us. I would highly recommend Nancy’s house in San Lois Obispo for a short or long term stay. Thank you Nancy for being such a great host. Diane and Keith

We were in SLO for a short visit and we booked this place online. My daughter and I have spent 2 nights in this cute little place and enjoyed every minute of it. The place is immaculate, very well decorated and has everything you need. Every single detail was thoughtfully put together and created a welcoming, warm feeling. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the things you need to cook. The bathroom was supplied with all the necessities, the bedrooms were comfortable and practical, with good linens and comfy mattresses. All the Christmas decor made it feel extra special and homey. My second stay in 3 weeks and it was perfect.

I travel quite a bit for work and pleasure, this is one of the top 5 stays in terms of accommodations. Upon checkin the host secured fresh baked goods, made fresh cookies, offered assortment of breakfast goods, coffees, tea's, and the accommodations were extended to other aspects of our stay. The personal touches and commutation were top notch. The pictures really do not do this place justice. The location is prime, centrally located, and a few blocks from downtown. Snag this place if you have a chance!

I cannot say enough good things about this property. We were in town to move our daughter into Cal Poly. Being from out of state we wanted more room to organize all of her items. It is perfectly located-clean-has everything you could need for a stay and the owner is wonderful to communicate with. I already booked my next stay here next month and cannot wait to come back.

The house is inviting, comfortable, spotless, nicely decorated and has everything you could possibly want. Upon arrival we were greeted with tasty treats for breakfast and the feeling of being at home (be sure to ask about the history of the house). Nancy is an amazing host who goes above and beyond all expectations. She has a notebook full of places to visit along with detailed maps. The house is perfectly located with walking distance of downtown (the Thursday evening Farmers Market is incredible!). We used the information daily and were able to see and do things we didn’t know were there! Nancy is a generous and gracious host. She is extremely responsive and answers all communications immediately. It is the best vacation house stay I’ve ever had and I highly recommend it. I would go back in a heartbeat!
