Hotel staff probably the owner was warm, welcoming and hospitable. Has in-house restaurant. Food was good, portion extra-ordinary big (excellent for big eaters). Room was relatively quiet despite being near to main road. Spacious shower.

Room needs a facelift, so does shower room. Breakfast was rather basic.

Choice in breakfast could have been bigger. but quality was good.

Super breakfast! Large space was offered with comfortable furniture.

Kindness, peace, all the comforts for very low prices. An island of quiteness in the middle of Emmental, surrounded by hills and meadows. Free parking and domestic animals, very good breakfast and rooms provided with all the comforts (coffee machine, fridge, hair dryer). Last but not least 5 stars to the owner, always nice and available for any request. Hope to come back here very soon. Thanks a lot to all the staff.

Simply nothing to say here. The only thing to pay attention about, eventually, is the fact that the gasthof it's far from everything, it's necessary the car for anything needed, but this is also a good side considering the silence you are surrounded by.

Great, lovely and quiet place. Breakfast was great, even though there were not many guests in the hotel. The room was super spacious with sitting and dinning area and enormous bathroom. We can only recommend this place to all and wish a good luck to the owners!

breakfast was excellent, the host accommodated us with an apartment on the 1st floor because my husband could not walk up the stairs (some handicap), very nice . I would highly recommend it.

A bit too close to the train....

The room is spacious, the bed very comfortable. Large bathroom and bath. Good, Swiss breakfast - excellent fresh bread! We dealt with the same person from check-in through check-out - warm, friendly, welcoming and multilingual. Very clean! You do need a vehicle, but its a beautiful part of Switzerland to explore.
