We spent a very lovely week in the Cottage diretly at the shore of the Killary Fjord. The Location is fantastic between the Fjord and the Street, close to Leenane. the Cottage is very comfortable an we felt very happy to stay there

The only pub within walking distance was closed.

Perfect place for an escape, whether for a few days or longer. The location was excellent as a base for touring the area and had beautiful scenery on the doorstep without having to go too far. The cottage was so comfortable and cosy and would suit both summer and winter seasons. After spending a day on a windy beach or hillside it was such a treat to come back and light the fire. While the kitchen area is small, as would be expected for a traditional cottage of this size and period, it was perfectly functional for our needs and did not disappoint. We are already looking forward to returning for another stay!

Cosy small cottage in the most beautiful location. Great base for touring Connemara. Surrounding area with breathtaking views. Babbling river to the side of the cottage - nice to sit out in the garden and just listen to the sound of the water as it makes its way to sea. Peaceful location with friendly locals. Cottage extremely cosy with the stove on. Beds very comfortable.

Entrance and exit to cottage a bit dodgy... near a bend in the road. Need to be careful pulling car out. Maybe a road mirror on the opposite side of exit may be beneficial. Kitchen quite small (but adequate with all essentials provided) which is not an issue if you’re planning on eating out a lot.
