Michael made us a flaked salmon omelette for breakfast that was fabulous!

Thomas town is a very small town so we didn’t get to experience pub food and music.

The room itself was clean, spacious and well equipped. The view from the balcony outside my room was of the river nore which was just stunning to wake up to. The host was extremely nice and the breakfast was fantastic. I'd highly recommend a stay here and a visit to Thomastown itself

No issues whatsoever

Comodo parcheggio interno con ingresso un po’ stretto. Camera abbastanza grande per due persone, presenti 3 letti (1 matrimoniale - 1 singolo). Colazione buona abbondante.

La camera non era perfettamente pulita, abbiamo rinvenuto macchie marroni in rilievo sulle lenzuola (lato interno) che abbiamo chiesto di sostituire. La sostituzione è stata fatta ma a nostro parere il proprietario ci è sembrato scocciato dalla richiesta. La camera non è ben isolata, sia a livello acustico che termico. Siamo stati svegliati in piena notte da rumori provocati dagli ospiti della stanza sopra e dalla porta d’ingresso entravano spifferi d’aria fredda. Abbiamo potuto sentire chiaramente uccelli, gatti e macchine per tutta la notte. La camera è situata al pianterreno pertanto per avere privacy è necessario chiudere sempre la tenda e accendere le luci non potendo sfruttare la possibile luce esterna. Non ho apprezzo nella zona bar della stanza i biscotti non confezionati singolarmente ma messi in un mini barattolo.

Thomastown is the quinatessial Irish countryside town. The TowerHouse B&B was prefect with it's stone facade and location right off the river. Our host and fellow travelers were friendly. The views spectacluar. After unpacking, we hopped a few of the local pubs. Breakfast was special in a sunroom overlooking the river. I would have love to have stayed longer but we had to rush off to catch a tee time.

Exceptional accommodation in an exceptional village. A very special place. Very historic accommodation with ambience and very warm hospitality shown to us. Fantastic breakfast - I very much hope to return

Only that I didn’t have an early morning flight to catch and could have enjoyed a relaxing morning in the super comfortable bed.

I liked the breakfast, well made and presented. No fault there at all.

I had 2 kids and we found the WIFI was bad. The kids will always want very good WIFI. The B&B was a B&B iv stayed in much better and to be fair much worse. In saying that I won't book there again. But mainly because of the lack of things to do in the area and the distance to Kilkenny City. But if ur looking for a place to sleep for the night with no kidding a great breakfast then Stay here.
